Kandi Burruss doesn’t think she’s being hypocritical about Todd Tucker using his new movie to discuss their split.
Todd Tucker has been in the headlines plenty as of late due to his upcoming movie, ‘Til Divorce Do Us Part.” The movie features Todd as well as other notable RHOA exes like Peter Thomas, Apollo Nida, Dennis McKinley, and Ralph Pitman.
In a trailer, Todd was discussing his divorce from Kandi Burruss. Peter asked Todd if it was true that he and Kandi would invite people to their bedroom while they were married. And Todd said they regularly had a third person join them throughout their marriage.
Kandi later clapped back at this in a statement to People Magazine. She said it was wrong for Todd to share intimate details about their marriage. Interestingly, some people think Kandi is being hypocritical since she did a one-woman show about the split. Others pointed out that it was actually Kandi who first told the world about what took place in their bedroom on her YouTube channel and RHOA.
Well, Kandi doesn’t agree. During a recent interview, she said her show was intimate. Phones were taken away, so what she did was different.
She said, “It’s very frustrating. I think the answer or reply to it, oh well, she did her one-woman show, but the thing that people don’t realize about the one-woman show is, we took people’s phones. So nobody has footage of anything, and I purposely did it in intimate crowds. You would have to know somebody who went or was there to be a part of it to be like oh this was her reply.”
Kandi added, “It’s drag Kandi to sell my tickets.”
