Actress Zoe Saldana is enjoying motherhood and marriage life with hubby Marco Perego, and the couple takes pride in doing things the non traditional way, especially when it comes to taking last names.
Marco decided to switch things up a bit and opted to take Zoe’s last name, even though she warned him that a lot of people would emasculate him if he went through with it.
She tells In Style Magazine:
“I tried to talk him out of it. I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world.’ But Marco looks up at me and says, ‘Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a s**t.'”
Well, if he can stand the teasing…good for him. Love a man that stands up for his beliefs.
I’ve seen her cuss him out in pap pictures and after she does it, he walks behind her like a lost puppy. Of course he took her last name. She wears the pants.
Well she’s the more dominate one in the marriage.
Hey whatever works for them.

Wait, ain’t he the rebound? I guess he knows he has to keep laying it on thick.
Something about them as a couple rubs me the wrong way but whatever works for them. I’m more of a traditional girl I would want to take my husband’s name.
Weren’t they only together a few months before they got engaged? This may not end well.
