Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith makes headlines plenty thanks to her controversial marriage to Will Smith, but he’s not the only man she’s had a passionate relationship with.
Before there was Will, Jada had a rather close relationship with Tupac Shakur, and even though things never really got romantic between them, she claims it was intense that they fought often.
She tells Howard Stern:
“Now being older, I have more of an understanding of what that was between us. When you have two young people that have very strong feelings, but there is no physical chemistry between us at all. And it wasn’t even just for me! It was him too. There was a time when I was like, ‘Just kiss me! Let’s just see how this goes.’ And when I tell you it had to be the most disgusting kiss for us both.
“If Pac and I had any kind of sexual chemistry, we might have killed each other because we were both so passionate. And you know, we loved deeply. It was hard enough with us just being friends. We had a very volatile relationship.”
Jada then goes on to say she wasn’t on speaking terms with Tupac when he was murdered, and she regrets not making peace with him before his death.
She ended up with the right person. You shouldn’t date people you clash hard with.
Now it makes sense I always wondered why they never got together.
It’s sad they didn’t get to make up before he passed. Life is so short, so there’s no need to hold grudges.
Pac was bae. I really wish he was still alive. He would be calling out a lot of these new rappers and speaking on issues pertaining to the black community with no fear. We need that.
Good sh-t. I love it when she talks about Pac.
I always thought they did date. Well you learn something new everyday.
I miss 2pac
I adored their friendship.
It’s sad they never got their chance to make up.
