Actress Meagan Good is probably used to getting slammed on social media seeing as she married a minister, but continues to dress in a way some don’t feel is appropriate for a minister’s wife.
However, Meagan’s husband thinks the actress’ critics are being a bit unfair and he wants them to understand his wife can wear what she pleases.
While on a panel about relationships during the Essence Festival, DeVon Franklin says:
“I don’t own her [and] she doesn’t own me. We are together and I respect whatever she chooses to put on. When I married her, I said, ‘I accept you for who you are. And whatever you choose to wear, that is your right.’
“The only ones with the guns out were those that read the same word that says, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ But the love was not there. I don’t have an issue [with her clothes]. It’s not about the dress; it’s about her heart. And I know her heart is amazing, that’s why I love her.”
It’s tough being the First Lady. It’s sad that some members of the church are so judgemental when they should be focused on the love of Christ. I respect that her husband has her back.

They need to stop giving fake Christians so much attention.
I love what he said. He’s so mature and wise.
He’s a very good husband from what it sounds like. She is not his property and deserves to wear what she wants.
He did what a good husband is suppose to do he took his wife back but I have noticed she has toned it down a bit.
Haters gon hate. I don’t think her outfits are even that sexy. She shows a little cleavage and that’s it.
He’s secure in his marriage so good for him.

They are so stinking cute.
She’s an actress known for her sex appeal and looks. If she changes that, her career will fall off. People need to mind their business.
