Roc Nation star J. Cole’s career continues to surge.
The emcee can now add his name to the impressive lists of artists who happened to sell out Madison Square Garden.
Forbes writes:
He may call Fayetteville, North Carolina home, but rapper J. Cole has a deep history within the Big Apple. The 30-year-old attended St. John’s University in Queens, where he attended classes by day and honed his skills as an MC in Manhattan nightclubs by night. With mounting success following him on campus and in the studio, Cole struck the attention of Jay-Z and received a record deal through Roc Nation in 2010. It would take three studio albums for him to gain national attention, but his rise to the apex of rap’s hierarchy is justified– Cole will play to a sold-out Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, a feat many of music’s biggest artist often fail to attain.
Congrats to J. Cole.

Sh-t while Drake was doing powerpoint presentations for Meek, J Cole has been quietly playing catch up without any f-cking features on his last album or hit singles.
