Ciara and Russell Wilson have ignited a huge debate on social media because Future feels Russell is out of line for getting so close to Baby Future so early in the relationship.
Turns out, a lot of men agreed with the rapper.
However, Ciara strongly disagrees and during her appearance on “CBS in the Morning,” she claims she feels the whole thing is just one big double standard since she used to watch Future’s kids early on and no one had a problem.
She says:
“It’s been very interesting to hear what a lot of guys have had to say. And I feel like in a sense it’s a double standard because at one point of time while we were together, I took care of his kids as well at a very young time in our relationship.
“I was really involved early in the stage of us getting to know each other and that’s been a big conversation. It’s like well what’s the difference here? I think that men that were outspoken like wouldn’t you want someone to love on your child or love on the child that you’re speaking about and more than anything, it is a child we’re talking about.
“The one thing I think people have to think about is remove the adults from the situation. This is my child here. And that’s serious.”
After admitting that the criticism angers her because it’s involving her son, Ciara revealed that she actually has tried to reach out to Future and get him and Russell to talk things out. However, he’s wasn’t interested in talking:
“I did reach out to my son’s father for him and Russell to speak. He didn’t want to talk to me…we didn’t get to talk. So that was that so I don’t know what more they would expect for me to do than just to live my life. That’s what I’m doing and my son is the most important.”
She also confirmed her and Russell have been together for more than half a year now. Check out the video below:

I’m glad she said this. Future and his supporters are so hypocritical it’s actually laughable.
Well she isn’t lying it is a double standard it was all good when she was playing step mommy to Future kids. If Ciara is telling the truth and she reached out to Future and he declined that speaks volumes. If he truly has a problem with this like he said on public formats he should have jumped at a chance to talk to Ciara and Russell and explain to them just how he explained in those interviews how he felt.
She sure did watch his kids and he was fine with that too. Future is really just mad Ciara upgraded.
So how much longer will this fake relationship last? I say one more month. Any bets?
