Up and coming rapper Fetty Wap is making his presence known on the radio stations and Billboard charts, and his sing-song form of rap works for him since his lyrics aren’t as gritty as others in his lane.

A lot of Fetty’s female fans appreciate that he’s not the type to call women out their names every other lyric like most of his peers tend to do, and now even Hip Hop legend MC Lyte has noticed that as well.

She seems to think Fetty could be the key to ending misogyny in Hip Hop.

  1. I agree he needs to be commended for not calling women out they name. But that should extend to not dipping his wick in all kinds of available ink. He’s gonna be the next one pulling a Charlie Sheen if he doesn’t start strapping that puppy up.

  2. She’s doing too much. He’s not a feminist. He just has enough sense not to bash the gender who buys the most albums.

  3. I can’t agree or disagree because I’ve only heard one of his songs. But I do think more rappers need to chill out on using the b and h word every other line. It’s too much and makes me not want to buy their music.

  4. Eh, I will admit he keeps it respectful for the most part. He’s still new so we’ll see how long that will last.
