In a recent interview with Cocoa Fab, Erica explains why she feels like complaining about reality shows not putting black women in a positive light is nitpicking.
She says:
“Everybody is always going to have their opinions no matter what you do. Every reality show is not for everybody. And what people have to realize is some reality shows are for entertainment.
“You do have some shows out there that do put African-American women in a positive light, so it’s kind of like it’s nitpicking to me almost, you know?”
And when it comes to dating rappers, Erica just feels like the whole situation is overrated:
“I didn’t date a rapper. I dated a regular person that…wanted to be a rapper and got a deal and stuff so this was way before he was even a rapper.
“It’s not all the glitz and glamour. It’s a lot that comes with it. You’re gonna get the women throwing themselves at them…men…um, I’m just keeping it real. It’s just a lot that comes with it and it’s what you can deal with in a relationship and they’re not there all the time. You know women, we’re emotional. We like to be with our guy and that’s not gonna happen. I just think young girls need to really think about…just know what you want first. I know you think that’s what you want right now but you don’t. I’m sorry.”
Erica then suggested dating a successful and retired rapper is much better.

I think dating rappers/singers/athletes is completely not worth the hassle but for a lot of women, the drama is worth it as long as they have lots of money. I prefer to stack my own coins and leave a peaceful life though.
All famous men are overrated. It’s a lot that comes with being with them. Not worth it.
I hope she realizes she got fired because she had no storyline anymore. #boring
