According to Hip Hollywood, Monyetta is claiming that another writer actually wrote the article and she’s not happy that the publication is presenting the piece to readers as if she penned it herself.
She also claims she was misquoted.
Hip Hollywood writes:
In an article titled, “I had my tubes tied for Ne-Yo, then he got another woman pregnant”, the NY Post claims Shaw sat down with writer Tashara Jones and bared her soul. Among many things, the story claimed Ne-Yo told Monyetta he would get a vasectomy after she got her tubes-tied, following the birth of their second child. He didn’t.
The article also details how, two months before their planned 2013 wedding, Shaw received a call from the R&B singer and he claimed he didn’t want to be monogamous. Unfortunately, less than a year later he was in a relationship with Renay. They are now married with a child of their own and Monyetta allegedly issued this warning. “She seems like a nice girl, but I would be worried if I were she. How does she know that he’s not going to do the same thing to her that he did to me?”
Now, Monyetta is clapping back at the Post and writer Tashara on Instagram. She says she was “misquoted” in the article and the focus should have been on her new book, “Bigger Than Me”.

It doesn’t matter if she wrote it or not. The facts are she wrote an entire book about it and did a reality show and talked about it every episode. I think she’s a beautiful woman but I’m sick of hearing about how NeYo did her. He did what he did. Move on and get yours.
I just hope she learned from the situation. Don’t ever make a permanent decision for someone who is temporary. Now she could fall in love next week but that permanent decision will most likely prevent her from having children with that man.
Well alright.
Everything happens for a reason.
Monyetta just needs to shut up talking about Neyo and move on. I sympathize with her I really do but what is there really left to say we all know Neyo is a douchebag.
Doesn’t matter because she still needs to get her sh-t together.
Misquoted?????? Yea OK……I believe what that article said. But she really needs to move on . Instead of writing a book she should be in therapy if she isn’t. Her and Toya writing books they don’t have the answers to nothing. I can look at their life and decide “That ain’t for me” I don’t want to read nothing they wrote…because they don’t have shyt together.
Exactly! I’m still trying to understand what Toya’s dumb behind could ever tell me that I don’t already know.
