Although Jennifer Hudson is happy her castmates Danielle Brooks and Cynthia Erivo scored nominations, she feels like those over production only booked her because she’s well known.
Hip Hollywood writes:
A lot of Broadway folks received Tony nominations on Tuesday, but Jennifer Hudson was not one of them … and she’s kind of in her feelings about it.
Hudson, who saunters and sways as Shug Avery in The Color Purple, hopped on Twitter to respond to a fan who was disappointed about her Tony snub. Although the Academy Award winner says she’s “not surprised”, she also through a little shade, too.
J Hud has since deleted the tweet.
She’s gotten too arrogant for her own good.
If J Hud don’t sit her delusional a-s down somewhere. That Oscar got her out here being an entitled b-tch but truth is her a-s ain’t even a good actress. When she’s in non-singing roles, she’s unbearable. She should humble herself and take some damn acting classes.
Tweeting that was very unprofessional. She’s been in the business long enough to know better. Now she has to hope this won’t make people think twice about casting her in the future.
Damn when did her attitude get so stank?
Shes letting that undeserved star she purchased on the walk of fame get to her head.
Did she forget that she was black? Was and living under a rock when the will and jasmine thing happen
