In a recent interview with This Is 50, Angela claims she felt the topic was fair game considering how public the topic was.
She also calls out K for having higher standards for women journalists than men, especially Charlamagne and DJ Envy.
Angela Yee says:
“My whole thing is it hasn’t changed anything and it hasn’t affected me in any way.
“My whole thing is we interview people and I might know a whole lot more than what I say. And I know a lot. But if I feel something is out there, and it’s on the blogs and it’s been said and we have every right to bring it up. If it’s something that’s behind the scenes that someone told me in confidence, I would never bring it up. But if it’s something that has been mentioned in songs and Twitter, in all different avenues, then you can’t be mad if anybody ask about it. And it’s like I told you before. It’s how you answer a question. You can dictate the flow of an interview.
“And to me it’s like don’t say women can’t ask questions but it’s okay for men to do it. That’s very counterproductive in my opinion.”
Angela is also shocked K was so upset about the situation considering her strong personality:
“And I feel like if you have that personality, where you do that all the time, then you can’t get sensitive. Because I had to go back and watch it because I know myself, and I know I don’t go in on women like that. And I never do.”

Yee calling K sensitive but is she not sensitive too? She’s still talking about this and K hasn’t said anything else about it since it happened.
Nobody cares now. I’m all for taking time to process a situation but she could’ve kept this to herself. It’s over and people have moved on.
Maybe K should have thicker skin but that doesn’t change the fact that Angela is messy and always has been.
I like K but Angela made a good point about K not checking Charla and Envy. She should have dragged them as well.

It’s always so odd to me to see Angela Yee try to pretend she’s so above everything when she rolls with Instagram thots and groupies. The fact that she and her friends felt like they could sit and laugh about anyone is interesting to me.
The truth hurts and that’s why Angela feels some kind of way. She’s 40 years old and very messy. In fact TBC is just messy period. No one with a real career with anything to lose goes on there anymore.
K should’ve told Yee she could never be Angie Martinez……..now that would’ve really hurt. But anyway, why is Yee still talkin about this???? Is it bcuz K shut her annoying a$$ up. And Yee didn’t dare say anything after LOL. Yes K should’ve checked Char and Envy too…..now when stories come out about Yee (and I am sure there’s stories out there about her a$$ or will be) she needs to remember she isn’t safe fr K….cause she lives for revenge

I don’t get people like her and Wendy Williams. They know damn well they are messy but like to pretend they aren’t and they are just doing their “jobs”. You don’t have to be messy to interview celebrities. K had every right to get upset. She’s a R&B singer and idiots like Angela want to talk about how her p-ssy smells instead of her damn music.
