Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon both agreed their marriage was over, and Nick even filed divorce papers back in 2014.
However, now that Mariah is engaged to billionaire James Packer, sources claim Nick refuses to sign the divorce papers and make the split official.

I don’t know what to believe because I’m with Oprah’s Wig I thought Nick was the one who filed for divorce. But I do wonder why the divorce isn’t finalized yet it’s going on 2 years they haven’t been together.
This is plausible. There has to be some reason they aren’t officially divorced yet. Nick probably wasn’t expecting her to move on so fast.
