The other day it was reported Cam Newton’s new stance on racism and race relations is a result of him being trained by a GOP consultant, and now the NFL star is addressing the recent police brutality incident that took place in Charlotte.

Interestingly enough, he is now shifting his stance to the latest GOP rhetoric and clinging on to black on black crime as talking points.

  1. Let all these simpletons keep exposing themselves. And Ray is just projecting. He still feels guilty for the murder he was involved in. That’s what makes him talking about this even more cringeworthy.

  2. But how is Ray going to bring up black violence when…you know what, not today Satan. I’ll just say he’s a huge hypocrite.

  3. The phrase “black on black crime” needs to be eliminated from convos such as these. It is tool that helps blame black people for systematic oppression, as if white on white crime doesn’t exist. In conversations of police brutality, it has NOTHING to do with the issue at hand. Yes, it happens, but white people kill each other, rob each other, etc everyday. But unarmed whites are not killed during routine stops. They are blaming these players for bringing attention to the problem, which is just as big an issue as “black on black crime”.

  4. But Ray Lewis is a murderer, no? He needs to shut up on the subject. As far as Cam is concerned, in about ten years, he will regret all of this.
