A music producer opened up about Usher and Bobby’s physical confrontation from back in the day and it’s an intriguing tale.

During a recent interview “Tax Season”, music producer/singer Rico Love spilled the tea, claiming that back in 2002, Bobby hosted his birthday party in LA. The story goes that Bobby and Usher were drunk when they got into an argument.
At first, Usher was under the impression that Bobby was just joking around with him. But, things got real when Bobby tried to put Usher in a headlock. The producer recalls,
Usher beat up Bobby Brown, I’m not bullsh**ting you. Bobby Brown was drunk. Usher went to his birthday party in LA. Bobby was drunk, talking some sh*t to Ush. Ush thought he was joking. Bobby was dead ass. He started pushing Ush in the chest. And he said, ‘Yeah, lil n**ga.
He added,
He put his arm around Ush, he put him like in a headlock. Like, ‘Yeah n**ga, don’t ever disrespect me, I’m the king. You my son.’ Ush kind of like pushed back, two-pieced Bobby Brown, quick. He did it so fast, everybody in the party thought they was play-fighting. Ush don’t f**k around.

So in a nutshell, Bobby got drunk and thought he could embarrass Usher, but Usher is the one who embarrassed him. Sounds about right.
