According to VH1, Stevie has been given his own reality show, and the show will focus on his life as a single man.
VH1 writes:
Like Stella, your favorite hitmaker Stevie J has got his groove back. The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta favorite, fresh out of his relationship with Joseline Hernandez, is ready to take on life as a bachelor. In his brand new spin-off Leave It To Stevie, the producer will get back to fatherhood, get back to work, and, of course, get back to play with the help of his children and his famous friends like Faith Evans and Lil Scrappy. This is gonna be lit!
“Leave It To Stevie” premieres December 19 at 9/8c.
In related news, TMZ claims Stevie has agreed to take a DNA test for Joseline Hernandez’s baby, however, he wants custody.
TMZ writes:
Stevie J just filed docs agreeing to take a DNA test to find out if he’s the father of Joseline’s unborn child and if he is … Stevie’s asking the court to award him primary physical custody because he thinks she’s an unfit mother. In the docs, he claims Joseline may have abused drugs during the pregnancy.
He also says she has anger issues as evidenced by her acts of violence against him in the past. He claims she’ll “engage in acts of parental alienation” once the kid’s born and keep him away from the child.
If he’s granted custody, Stevie J is also asking for child support.
His reality show is probably going to be boring, just like the one he had with Joseline.
So I guess Joseline is getting her own spinoff too. Blah.
This clip wasn’t appealing.
This makes me wonder if him and Joseline really won’t be on LHHATL now.
They won’t VH1 gave them each their own show to get out of the Love & Hip Hop contract, just like K.Michelle did.
I really wish they’d leave children out of reality tv drama…
Girl me too.
Looks boring.
I don’t think Stevie needs his own show. I think Mona needs to remember him and Joseline together is what made the show work. Them not interacting now isn’t what people want to see. Even if they are broken up, people would be interested in seeing them go at it in court, etc. But he doesn’t need his own show. The chemistry between the cast the first couple of seasons is what made the Atlanta show successful. They need to remember that.
