Mariah is accused of being the shadiest.
Producers playback scenes of all the ladies shading each other but Andy claims Mariah’s shade for Quad appears to be the most brutal.
“You judge her more than anyone else on the stage and that’s why you all have a problem right now. You’ve been jealous of Quad since day one. You did not like the fact that she came in this group and everyone liked her more than they liked you. They chose her over you, over and over again.” – Dr. Heavenly
Quad takes delight in Heavenly’s comment and adds her two cents.
“You’re wanting people to hate me but they love me more and that’s what you can’t take. I have nothing for you.” – Quad
Mariah points out the fact that everyone on the show throws shade, so people need to get thicker skin when she returns it.
Andy asks if Dr. Simone and Mariah can ever be friends again and Dr. Simone is unsure.
“She always feels that I take everyone else’s side. The only side I took was Quad. Any other side was in her head.” – Dr. Simone
That’s when Heavenly points out Mariah made fun of Simone’s teeth and called her the Easter Bunny.
Mariah then went in on Heavenly’s teeth.
“I’d like to talk about yours. Because you’re a dentist and you have an overbite and an underbite. I call it over yonder bite!” – Mariah to Dr. Heavenly
Dr. Heavenly then tells Mariah she has tooth decay and her breath stinks and it’s all hereditary. Mariah says she’s said the same thing about Lisa.
“That’s her go-to line.” – Lisa
Mariah and Dr. Heavenly go at it again.
“I think you are dingy, dirty, dusty.” – Mariah to Heavenly
“Your mama. Your ugly a*s mama. So you ought to know it when you see it.” – Dr. Heavenly
“What I don’t like about you and what I cannot take besides the fact that I think you’re a messy b*tch is that you had weight struggles and that’s okay. And you’ve done everything you need to do but work on the inside. You can put all your affirmations up on the mirror but then turn around and talk about another woman’s body. How dare you.” – Mariah to Heavenly
Mariah vs. Dr. Jackie
Dr. Jackie says she thinks Lisa is Mariah’s puppet.
She also claims her issue with Mariah is that she feels everything is shade when it’s not.
“It has always been very uncomfortable for me to communicate with you. Because even when I’m very sincere and I say anything to you, you take it and make it as f I’m quote on quote, shading you. It’s a lack of intelligence when you don’t sit and process what I’m trying to say and always make it bad.” – Dr. Jackie to Mariah
Mariah then expresses her issues with Dr. Jackie.
“And let me just say it’s very condescending sometimes when you don’t listen and you immediately just go into the situation without listening to all different sides. And do all women a disservice when anyone of these successful women are being manipulated.” – Mariah to Dr. Jackie
Dr. Jackie points out that Mariah’s body language is also problematic.
“You have this body language that is such a turnoff. You’re rolling your neck and your body language…and your undertone…That is the one thing that just irks me about you…” – Dr. Jackie
Mariah adds Jackie can be shady in her own way.
“And the way you speak to people, Jackie. You have an undertone about yourself as well. You may not yell but you can be very nasty. You just do your shade in a different way than the rest of these ladies.” – Mariah to Dr. Jackie
Andy asked if Jackie is still mad with Mariah for telling her that being a mother is a different experience when you birth children vs. adopt them. Jackie denies still holding a grudge over that.
Andy asked Mariah if she’s friends with anyone in the group, and she says she’s friends with Lisa and getting to know Genise. She says she’s on rocky terms with everyone else
Curtis and Dr. Jackie still aren’t on the same page.
Curtis and Jackie discuss their marital problems. Jackie says she feels like it’s a double standard between men and women breadwinners. Men aren’t criticized for working all the time while women are slammed for doing the same.
“I totally disagree that it’s a double standard. Whether it’s a man or a woman that’s in a relationship, there has to be a balance.” – Curtis
The discussion then turns into Dr. Jackie working very hard to keep up their lifestyle.
“Is life about just having things? I think that relationships as you grow and spend good time together is hugely important. In the end, you work hard financially, you work hard for other people. But what about home?” – Curtis
Cecil suggests that Dr. Jackie should have more passion for marriage. Andy reminds them that since Jackie doesn’t have children, she applies that passion to her career. She is getting something from helping breast cancer patients that is similar to motherhood.
When Andy asks their status, Curtis says they are still working on their marriage.
“And if we find that we’re making each other miserable and I can’t be the best helpmate for Curtis, then I hope he can be with somebody else who can make him happy.” – Dr. Jackie
Andy and the others call her out and say she shouldn’t even think about divorcing.
Mariah calls out Quad’s gas money shade.
Mariah calls out Quad for giving the security person $50 to give her and Aydin when they were rejected from Dr. Gregory’s birthday party. Mariah feels it was a stunt and mean to to be disrespectful, but Quad denies trying to be messy. Quad says she was just trying to be considerate because it takes a lot of gas money to make that drive.
“It was pure shade.” – Mariah
Darren is sick of the gay accusations.
Darren points out that he feels like his marriage to Lisa was attacked for the majority of the season and he thinks the gay accusations are way out of line.
“I’m not gay. Never been with a man in my life. Never had the desire to be with a man. Never had the interest of being with a man. Andy, and I think you should feel disrespected. You should feel disrespected. I guarantee Andy, if you referred to me as ‘your black a*s,’ I guarantee you me and forty-five million African Americans would be disrespected and would probably say that was a racial slur. So you need to be conscious of what you say because the tone in which you say it can offend a lot of people.” – Darren
“Nobody meant that in a negative way…” – Toya
“You did.” – Darren
Andy checks Quad.
Quad got a little snarky when Darren continued to address the gay accusations and it did not sit well with Andy.
“I never said it sweet pea. I never said it doll.” – Quad
“First of all, I’m not a doll.” – Darren to Quad
“Why are you arguing with a woman?” – Quad to Darren
“Because you’re picking fights with him and then you’re not expecting him not to respond. It’s rude, seriously.” – Andy to Quad
Lisa and Eugene find common ground.
Eugene admits Toya was wrong for calling Darren gay but feels his marriage to Toya was attacked too.
Lisa apologizes to Eugene for taking shots at him while arguing with Toya. However, she feels like her marriage was attacked all season.
Darren vs. Dr. Simone
Dr. Simone and Darren have a little back and forth after Darren calls out the ladies for calling him gay and criticizing his marriage.
“I’ve been married to my wife for going on ten years.” – Darren to Dr. Simone
“And you yourself said you’ve been faithful for five! Give me a f*cking break!” – Dr. Simone to Darren
“It was a slip of the tongue.” – Darren
“It was a bad slip, Darren. A bad slip.” – Dr. Simone
He says he’s never cheated on Lisa but he’s done some things that were dishonest.
Lisa finally calls Darren out in front of the group.
Lisa is asked by Andy to say what she needs to say to Darren in front of the group. She gets emotional but doesn’t hold back.
“And what I’m going to say to you is you gotta stop saying dumb sh*t that embarrasses me. Well the truth is Darren, you and I had a conversation and you talked about wanting to have another son to carry on your name and carry on your legacy. So for you to get around the men and try to act like you know you’re not really all that about having a baby is wrong. And you need to stop it because if you wouldn’t say these things, then they wouldn’t have a reason to attack me. And I’m not going to take it from you guys and I’m not going to take it from you. It needs to stop.” – Lisa to Darren
Dr. Heavenly is proud of Lisa for finally checking Darren.
“That’s the best sh*t she said all night.” – Dr. Heavenly
There’s a future for Lisa, Toya and Dr. Heavenly.
Toya admits she was wrong to call Darren gay and she apologizes to Lisa. She also agrees to keep family members out of their disagreements.
Dr. Heavenly and Lisa are open to revisiting their friendship in the future.
What are your thoughts on the reunion?
Love Quad but she annoyed me at the reunion.
She only annoys me when it comes to Mariah. I say that because everything she accuses Mariah of doing she does herself. She’s just as manipulative as Mariah is. Lisa is Mariah’s puppet and Heavenly is Quad’s puppet. If Mariah is jealous of Quad because the group prefers Quad over her, then Quad was jealous when Mariah was the queen bee. Quad really gets life from everyone abandoning Mariah and it’s really weird to me how no one has called this out. Makes me think Quad always wanted it that way.

I’m still holding out hope that Mariah and Quad will squash their beef but it may be time for me to accept that is not going to happen. Anyway, I’m glad Lisa finally called out Darren. It was long overdue.
Yeah Quad really aggravated Andy. I don’t understand why she was on ten with Darren anyway. It was Heavenly and Toya who kept calling him gay all season.
Didn’t the gay man who said he slept with Darren know Quad?
Yes, and Quad was the one responsible for the rumor as she was mad at Lisa and allowed dude to come to her event while she pretended she did not know the secret already.
Every one of these women throw shade. So how can they have a problem with Mariah throwing shade?
Mariah’s shade cuts deep. All Heavenly does is talk about your momma. It’s high school level shade you laugh at because it’s so baseless and immature. Mariah cuts to the core and it’s usually true. I think that’s the real issue everyone has with Mariah.
I can agree with this. She got Jackie together real quick. Jackie throws shade but she does it softly and so if you heard it, you almost have to go back and forth in your mind of whether she did or not. Truth was told, Jackie does throw shade and she sides against Mariah because she is still upset with Mariah about the baby comment.
So happy Lisa got honest and told Darren about himself.

The only time Quad was asked anything really was when it came to Mariah. Interesting.
I’m glad Lisa did get with Darren. I also think the men betrayed Darren as well. The wives were allowed to say untrue things and the men never went to Darren and apologized to him on their wives behavior. Heavenly and LaToya were bullying her and although I don’t care for Lisa, I understand why she would come out biting because they backed her in the corner.
