Toni gets all the sisters together before she heads on tour. They catch up on each other’s personal lives.
“It’s really good to have all the sisters out here in LA before Toni goes back on tour.” – Tamar
Traci says her relationship with her sisters is doing much better as of now, however, there’s one in particular that she still has issues with. She will put it all on the table later.
Towanda and Trina are delighted that they don’t have to do background vocals for Toni on this upcoming tour.
“I think it’s a good thing because the girls can actually concentrate on themselves.” – Toni
Tamar is sad Toni is going on tour because they spend so much time together and she’s going to miss her.
The topic then changes to Vince’s weight loss. Tamar is not happy that he’s getting so much small.
“The only thing that wants a bone is a dog.” – Tamar
Towanda brings up her divorce.
“Secretly, I was hoping it would work out. Yeah, I said it.” – Toni
Towanda and Andre have been breaking up and making up for about seven years. So the family isn’t so sure it’s for real this time. But Towanda says it’s real and she doesn’t want to keep talking about it.
In more relationship news, Tamar brings up Birdman and Toni says that despite all the rumors, they are just friends who go out on dates…for now.
“We’ve been friends for a long time…like fourteen/fifteen years. And we go out on dates sometimes. Sometimes from friendships things could develop and perhaps that could happen.” – Toni
Trina and Towanda discuss Traci’s single.
Tamar is still upset that she was left out and didn’t get to sing on the song. So Towanda and Trina think it would be a good idea for the two sisters to sit down and hash out their issues.
Towanda meets with her divorce lawyer and gets some bad news.
Her lawyer informs her that her husband wants the properties in Maryland and LA. Andre also wants primary custody of the children. Towanda is not having it.
“He can have all the property but he can’t take my kids.” – Towanda
Her lawyer suggests splitting the children up but Towanda isn’t for that either.
“I wouldn’t be able to live without my children.” – Towanda
Her lawyer brings up that the rumors of their marriage being open could be an issue and asks Towanda if she ever cheated. She claims she was faithful.
Since Trina has been divorced twice, Towanda confides in her.
Tamar opens up to Toni about the headlines surrounding her firing from “The Real” and her marriage.
She is upset that no one from the family called her to check up on her as the rumors continue to spread.
However, Toni suggest that sometimes even family doesn’t know how to approach and check up on each other. So she thinks Tamar should just check up on herself.
Towanda and Trina visit Traci to talk about Tamar.
The single won’t officially be released yet because she wants to have her other songs ready, so Towanda and Trina ask if Tamar has time to add her vocals to the song.
But since Tamar shaded the song on social media, Traci is hesitant on allowing her on the song.
Towanda urges Traci to sit down with Tamar to work out their issues since it happened two years ago. Traci wants to do it on her own time.
Tamar and Vince look at houses in Atlanta.
Tamar wants to get a home in Atlanta to be closer to her mother since Logan has such a strong bond with his grandmother.
She reveals that she is now on the same page with Vince about having another child, so they need to have room for a nursery.
Trina and Towanda talk to Tamar about Traci.
They point out to Tamar that Traci is still upset about being shaded on social media. Tamar brings up that she was hurt by the Grammys shade Traci threw her on social media after she was nominated for her first Grammy and lost, so she returned the shade when she wasn’t asked to sing on the song.
“I didn’t know she was holding on to that.” – Tamar
Tamar thinks both of them were just being really sensitive and she’s willing to talk things out with Traci.
What are your thoughts on the episode?
Tamar is one of those people who throws hurtful shade but never seems to understand why it’s hurtful. I know it has to be frustrating to deal with her.
You can tell Tamar is the baby.
I think the real issue is Tamar wants to be the only sister of Toni’s to have a career and that’s why she threw that shade on Twitter.
Bingo.
Im not really understanding what Toni sees in Birdman.
I do!! Birdman has money, lots of it. I adore Toni but she is is always 1 step away from bankrupcy.
His looks are a total turnoff to me but if he treats her well, I wish them the best of luck.
How are Tamar and Vince looking at houses in ATL when they already ain’t paying the bills they already have?
#DEAD
How does Tamar have stans? She is so annoying and acts like a 12 year old. All that lip smacking and eye rolling is not cute. She’s too old to behave this way.
Tamar is a spoiled brat.
Andre wants full custody? Chile…
