Shamea Morton and Porsha Williams’ friendship is in focus on RHOA.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” is back. Longtime fans are still reacting to the premiere of Season 16 on social media. Shamea Morton is officially a peach holder. She showed off her spectacular $9 million home during the episode’s open. Her husband Gerald Mwangi has had plenty of success. The businessman installed HVAC systems in airports. Shamea described herself as a Renaissance Woman, a female Jamie Foxx with an impressive resume that includes acting, singing, and dancing. She said it was time for her to step into the RHOA spotlight. For years, she’s appeared on the show as a close friend to Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss.
Shamea and Porsha have been close since they were children. While some people appreciate their friendship, others have accused Shamea of being Porsha’s lapdog.
This will come up on the next episode. Porsha is currently not feeling Drew Sidora. It’s been rumored that Drew and Dennis McKinley have a budding romance. Porsha feels Drew crossed the line by allegedly filming with Dennis behind her back.
Porsha also said that Drew was an ambassador of her Go Naked Hair business. But she rubbed Porsha the wrong way by planning a photoshoot for the brand without getting approval.
Angela Oakley doesn’t hold back her thoughts on Shamea Morton.
Shamea asked Drew if she was dating Dennis at the end of the season premiere but the episode ended on a cliffhanger before Porsha and Drew could get to the bottom of things.
Well, RHOA newbie Angela Oakley calls out Shamea for this on the next episode. During a preview, Drew catches up with Angela and Shamea at the gym.
Shamea asks Drew how serious she and Dennis have been about making music together. Drew answers 30 songs have been recorded. This leads to Angela asking Shamea why she asked Drew about Dennis during her birthday celebration. Angela figures Shamea asked Drew about Dennis on Porsha’s behalf.
“I think I was just shocked that you asked a question for Porsha,” says Angela.
Shamea says she asked the question for herself and not for Porsha. But Angela doesn’t believe this. She says, “You’re being Porsha’s assistant.”
It’s at this point, Shamea feels like Angela is doing too much for TV. During a confessional, Shamea says, “Who knew she could speak? ‘Cause at my birthday when Porsha was handing it to Drew, she was a church mouse.”
As for Drew, she tells producers that she agrees with Angela’s assessment.
“I kind of agree with my girl Angela. If you look up the definition of lapdog, I think you would see Shamea’s picture.”
A dismissive nasty mean girl show no longer demonstrating any value to women.
I think I’m going to like Angela lol.
She speaks her mind and I respect it.
Drew needs to go.. She’s never had a storyline, she’s a horrible singer and actress, and she is just so fake! She needs to go hide wherever that weird husband of hers is hiding!!!
Drew is a liar and she’s annoying, but the girl is a great actress and she has a beautiful voice.
Okay Newbie make your presence known. Hope she knows Drew will leave her hanging when the heat comes.
I just hate Kandi left. Kenya should no where near be on the show. Porsha is a backstabber. Production could have done better with the line up
Angela Oakley is doing the most, she is too old to be so thirsty.
