The latest season of LHHNY wasn’t an easy one for Yandy Smith since her relationship with Mendeecees Harris was front and center, plus she had to go toe to toe with his other two baby mamas Erika DeShazo and Samantha Wallace.
Although Yandy has a lot of fans, she did get called out on social media by viewers after VH1 put her on blast for getting caught up in some lies at the reunion for season seven.
And social media wasn’t kind when it was confirmed that Yandy isn’t legally married to Mendeecees.
We even told you that Yandy’s story about Erica and Mendeecees’ history didn’t add up, but Yandy seems to think she’s survived six seasons because she’s authentic.
During a recent appearance on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” she opened up about being a part of the cast since the show’s second season and claims being authentic with her personal life is what keeps her around:
“I think the world kind of appreciates my authenticity with my stories. If I could fake my husband being where he is, I would love to fake it. If I could fake the dynamic of my family, I would love to fake it. I could have faked what happened with Jim and Chrissy and I, I would have loved to have faked it. It’s real. It’s really who I am. And those things have happened in my life and it just happened to be a camera smack dead on the left of me and the right of me.”
Check out the interview below:
Ain’t sh-t authentic about her lying a-s.
Laughable.
No.
No, she’s actually one of the phoniest people on the show. She’s only survived this long because she’s Mona’s mentee. Everyone knows that.
So authentic but just got busted lying about being married. And that’s just one lie caught telling last season. There’s many more.
Girl you are a professional liar, we haven’t forgotten. Sit down.
Oh please.
LMBO!
I see she’s still out here telling lies.
*blank stare*
Authentically delusional. Have several seats, ma’am.
She’s such a troll.
Girl shut up.
