Jay-Z’s “4:44” is an album that’s earned much praise and accolades from fans and critics since its release. In fact, the album earned Jay-Z his thirteenth platinum plaque, which is most ever for any solo rap artist.

However, the album has fallen on deaf ears when it comes to “Power” executive producer 50 Cent.

In fact, 50 Cent believes the album’s content of economic empowerment and family building doesn’t relate to today’s fan.

  1. Mind your business 50. Just because no one is checking for your music doesn’t mean Jay can’t make albums when he feels good and ready.

  2. His comment should be offensive to those who are apart of the hip hop culture. He’s basically saying their ignorant and unable to understand music that’s not dumbed down. Maybe that’s his reality that he’s projecting on some of the hip hop audience. Clearly there are some who fit his description but, most definitely not everyone fits this category.
