Joseline Hernandez had plenty to say about her exit from “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.”
In fact, she told the Breakfast Club crew that she hated that Mona and the rest of the producers played that infamous montage that painted her as hard to work with on the season finale when the network had no issue with giving her a huge budget for her delivery special:
“I just really feel like the way that they were showing me it was like how do you show me like this? You just gave me a $500,000 budget. But this is how you show me? I didn’t like that sh*t. That sh*t really bothered me. You gave me a $500,000 budget to do a show for my daughter. But then you turn around and just do this to me. I didn’t like that. That sh*t really hurt me because I feel like sometimes you have to respect certain things. Especially a person like me. I’ve been with the network for seven years.
“And if you allow me to do something better, allow me to do that. Don’t try to turn around and show something that I’ve done four years ago. That’s not fair. It’s just not fair and that sh*t really bothered me.”
Joseline also pointed out that she’s upset that scenes regarding her music and a very major performance were not shown.
Charlamagne then says that he feels what Joseline wanted from Mona was unrealistic:
“Well Mona has been exploiting y’all for years. Mona has been exploiting the worst of y’all for years. What makes you think she would change now? Or present you in a different light now?”
Joseline responds with:
“It’s not the point that she’s been exploiting the cast for years. My thing is when you get to a certain level like me, I get royalties on everybody that walks on set. Everybody that walks on set for ‘Love and Hip Hop,’ I get royalties on them. That’s how I did my contract.
“And sometimes I just feel like if you allow a person to be bigger than just talent, something like as a $500,00 budget…let me do that, why would you bring something that I did years ago and bring it to the front? Especially when I say, you know what? I’ll talk to anybody that’s in my real life. If I got to talk to people that’s not in my real life, I don’t want to talk about it.”
When asked if she does coke, Joseline says:
“Well I breastfed for a month, and I definitely wasn’t doing any coke.”
“I mean listen, we all done things in the past.
“I got drug tested like four times. My baby daddy was f*cking with me and he was like getting on my nerves, so I got drug tested four times. Because I didn’t go the hospital, I had the baby at the birthing center and they don’t have any doctors. You have to take a drug test because they won’t accept you if you don’t take one. Cause it’s not any doctors delivering your baby, it’s like a nurse.”
She also made it clear that she doesn’t regret anything she has said to Stevie J’s daughter Savannah:
“She’s not 18. She’s 21.
“If you’re 21 and you come for me, I’m coming for you. Sorry. Because the judge is going to say, young lady, you’re old enough to know what’s coming out of your mouth. You can control you daddy, but you can’t control me. I ain’t with that sh*t. And I’m going to give respect where respect is due. Especially now that I have a baby. She should respect me. I’m the mother of her sister.
“F*ck her dad. Her dad should also be talking to her about respecting the mother of his child.”

I will have to watch this later. She looks pretty though.
I can actually understand what she’s saying.
I think people who want actual careers shouldn’t be on Love & Hip Hop more than two seasons. When you stay too long, it’s hard for people to think of you as anything else outside of reality television. Cardi was smart. Now Joseline has to work hard to change it up and get taken seriously. All money isn’t good money. She should have left a long time ago. Even now it doesn’t sound like she’s so sure she’s done with the show. Bad mistake.
Exactly. Cardi played her cards right and I wish more would.
Mona only cares about ratings. The sooner people understand that, the better off they will be.
Joseline has to have a new publicist. She’s been doing interviews all week.
People better start realizing they are nothing but pawns to Mona and vh1 they don’t care about nothing but dollar signs. When you stop playing by their rules they will sabotage, throw you under the bus, and try to blackball you and that’s exactly what Mona and vh1 are doing to Joseline. This is a good lesson for Joseline because acting a fool for years has came back to bite her and she going to have to work twice as hard to rehabilitate her image.
*standing ovation*
Facts. And the people who have been on these shows the longest are the most trapped.
I’ve always liked Joseline’s personality. She’d be foolish to go back to Mona after how crazy they tried to make her look. My thing is don’t base your whole show around someone cutting up and then turn around and act like it’s such a problem when they tell you they are leaving. Joseline wasn’t a problem until she smartened up and decided to walk. Oh, now she’s a problem. That’s just so petty.
Stevie is on coke too. I’m glad they brought that up.
