‘Baller Wives’ Recap: Kijafa Clashes with a Pregnant Stacey + Accusations Fly

Kijafa digs into Michael for recent comments he made in the media.

The first baller wife is Kijafa Vick. She is the wife of former NFL quarterback Michael Vick. Kijafa confronts him about his comments about Colin Kaepernick. He made the controversial comments during his appearance on Fox Sports 1. Michael tells her that he was wrong. He realized he screwed up and he shouldn’t have said what he said about Colin needing to forsake his afro to get another gig in the NFL.

Kijafa scolds Mike about his comments because she is scared about reliving what happened in their past. For those that do not know, Michael served a federal prison sentence of almost 2 years for running a dog-fighting ring. She wants him to remember he has a strong voice and needs to be careful about what he says in the media.

Kijafa has been married to Michael for 4 years, and they dated for over 14 years. They have two kids together and three kids overall. They also have a dog, a Rottweiler named Lola.

Michael says he has many regrets for the things he’s done in the past.

Once they move on from this conversation, she walks in on Mike playing video games. She takes the game set off of his head to get his attention. She lets him know that she is inviting her girlfriends over to chat. He’s cool with it and lets Kijafa know he has plans of golfing. She jokes with him, saying he needs to get another job.

“As much as I love having him around, he gets on my nerves.” – Kijafa

Kijafa hosts her friends and fellow baller wives.

Kijafa has her friends over later on. This includes Jeniva Samuel and Aja Crowder. Jeniva is the wife of Asante Samuel, and Aja Crowder is married to Channing Crowder. Ty Dansby is married to Carlos Dansby, but they are going through a divorce.

Jeniva and Ty ask Kijafa about her trip to Thailand, and also talk about Ty’s divorce. They also talk about Lola’s run-in with her neighbor Stacey Chambers.

Apparently Lola chased Stacey down in the neighborhood one day and Stacey is still upset.

Stacey Chambers is the wife of Chris Chambers. She and Miko aren’t getting along well with Kijafa. She is at her house with Miko Grimes, the wife of Brent Grimes.

Kijafa and Stacey recount about how they aren’t getting along. Stacey feels like Ki’Jafa is fake and arrogant. Ki’Jafa says Stacey is a certified stalker.

Allegedly, Stacey stalked her husband Chris and he got a restraining order on her. According to the rumors, Stacey was sleeping with Chris while he was married to his first wife.

Miko also brings up how she trolled the Miami Dolphins on social media so they would free her husband Brent from his contract.

Meanwhile, Mike overhears what’s being said about Stacey and yells out to Kijafa to stop. He reveals that he and Chris Chambers are cool and their wives’ beef is making them both uncomfortable. Chris and Mike were teammates with the Atlanta Falcons.

We’re introduced to Kelly Jones, the wife of Julius Jones.

Next we see Kelly Jones, the wife of former running back Julius Jones. Kelly tells viewers that she looked at Julius somewhat as a toy when they first met.

“I tried so hard to just have fun with it.” – Kelly Jones

They are out to dinner with their friends Logan and Jessica Payne, who are newlyweds. Logan played for the Seattle Seahawks.

Kijafa and Jeniva clash with Stacey.

Michael thinks Kijafa should be a bigger person and squash her beef with Stacey. So Kijafa invites her out for drinks and Stacey brings Miko. Kijafa says she tried to apologize to Stacey about Lola but Stacey strongly denies this. Stacey says Kijafa’s daughter and aunt came to apologize for her.

Jeniva jumps in the conversation and accuses Stacey of sleeping with Asante before she was in the picture. A shouting match ensues between Jeniva and Stacey, resulting in Jenvia saying, “My man f**ked you in his car!”

Kijafa is shocked by this. And Stacey is confused by this.

“Have you seen your husband? He isn’t my type. You can have him.” – Stacey

Jeniva then accuses Stacey of sleeping with Asante’s brother.

It gets out of hand and security separates everyone.

Eight months go by and not much has changed between Kijafa and Stacey.

Eight months later, Stacey is at the doctor’s office with Chris and their daughter. She is eight months pregnant with their second daughter. They are performing an ultrasound and it looks well.

In a green screen interview, Chris reveals how they met and how he was married at the time. He says he never took out a restraining order against Stacey. He says his team found about their situation and he chose her over his career.

Despite what happened, Stacey is eager to confront Kijafa and Jeniva.

Jeniva questions Asante’s desire to become a professional boxer.

Jeniva and Asante are in a boxing gym, working out. Jeniva reveals that she didn’t know Asante was in the NFL at first, because he used to ask her for money.

Asante wants to get a professional boxing career started. Jeniva is not exactly happy about this. She feels he is being selfish getting into boxing. She feels the sport is really dangerous and could lead to brain trauma and even death.

“I can’t imagine raising my daughters without him.” – Jeniva

Miko shows she is not afraid of confrontation.

Miko Grimes is hosting her podcast and she is interviewing Julius Jones. She is going to ask him plenty of questions and will bring up his white wife.

She tells him that black women are offended when they see him holding hands with a white woman. He reveals he grew up around plenty of white women and couldn’t date until college.

They then talk about concussions. He reveals he doesn’t want his kids playing football. He is an advocate for concussions and CTE.

“They’ve been plenty of times where I’ve been dinged up and couldn’t see.” – Julius

Miko then goes out with Jeniva and they take their kids bowling. Jeniva later invites Miko to the rooftop party. Miko wants Jeniva to invite Stacey since Stacey wants to hash things out with her.

Jeniva thinks Miko should stay out of it, not getting in-between her two friends. However, Miko feels like Kijafa is instigating the drama and feels she is full of herself.

“We all live in the same community. What you have, I can get. There’s no peasantry over here.” – Miko

The rooftop party happens and Kijafa and Stacey pick their beef up where they left off.

It’s the night of the roof top party and the cast is arriving with their friends. Kijafa and her crew are throwing shade about Stacey as they await her arrival.

Stacey arrives and wants to throw her own shade. Miko arrives with Stacey and she wants to being all sides together. Kijafa notices Stacey is pregnant and realizes she must remain on her best behavior. Kijafa’s publicist friend greets Stacey but Stacey dismisses it as being fake.

When Kijafa notices Stacey snubbed her publicist, she calls her the devil.

“The devil called the devil, the devil.” – Miko

Despite Stacey being pregnant, she starts an argument with Kijafa. Eventually Stacey takes a verbal jab at Kijafa’s mother and when Kijafa points out that her mother passed away, Stacey says, “Good!”

This really angers Kijafa, but she remembers Stacey is pregnant and lets the hit below the belt go.

Stacey then starts bragging about having a faithful husband and tells Jeniva and Kajifa that their men cheat.
