“Love and Hip Hop New York” is back for its eighth season, and the promotional campaign in which VH1 crowned all of the main cast members as queens has been hit with mixed reactions on social media.
Many of the complaints stemmed from the fact that quite a few of the “queens” are women people have never heard of before.
And last night, some took to social media to already declare that the season is going to be a boring one, in comparison to the Hollywood and Atlanta shows.
Former LHHNY star Erica Mena is no stranger to speaking her mind on social media, and she didn’t hold back on the new season (read tweets from bottom to top):
She wants to be back on LHHNY so bad she don’t know what to do smh.
True but I bet she’d come back if Mona asked.
I agree. But Remy is boring too. She pretty much has the same storyline from last season, the whole let’s have a baby or not storyline.
I think the issue is Mona has all these shows now, but it’s always the same few storylines recycled no matter which city. I feel like we’re all watching out of habit at this point. It’s not really entertaining anymore.
But she was just on social medial a few days ago asking her “fans” if she should come back. Girl bye.
Erica misses those checks tho…
