Gabby Douglas Victim Shames Aly Raisman + Simone Biles Claps Back

Recently, Gabrielle Douglas’ former teammate Ally Raisman came forward with claims that their team doctor s*xually assaulted her.

These allegations were just one of many as numerous women have come forward to accuse many prominent men of sexual assault and harassment.

Despite this, some critics victim shamed the women who have come forward. This made Aly feel some type of way because she posted the following to her Twitter account:

This message against victim shaming left an opening for her former teammate Gabby Douglas.

Gabby, who may still feel some type of way as a result of their time together as Olympics teammates, responded, saying that women have a responsibility to “dress modestly” so they won’t entice “the wrong crowd.”

This response brought much criticism towards Gabby, including a clap back from Aly’s friend and fellow teammate, Simone Biles.

Simone is no stranger to expressing her lack of a friendship with Gabby.

  1. Ugggghhhhhhhhhh is Gabby lying though. All women who dress like thots want attention and then cry victim when it goes south. Trust me I have seen it with my own eyes. They are the ones who are making it harder for the REAL victims trying to shame people for having an opinion about them dressing like thots enticing men. That’s what the fu*k they wanted in the first place. Let’s all stop with the crap.

  2. I think people need to be careful what we put out in the universe. There’s a reason why the bible says we reap what we sow. Never fault a victim because you never know if you may end up being a victim too one day. Women get raped wearing all kind of things. I mean Muslim women are raped and they dress very modestly.

  3. It’s sad that even women are socialized to hate other women. Victim shaming is never ok. Rapists rape people, not outfits.

  4. If that’s how she feels she should be allowed to express that. No where did she say women deserves to be raped, but quite frankly we need to teach our daughters to love and respect their bodies
