Simone Biles achieved mainstream attention and fame after she had plenty of success as a gymnast in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Although she has plenty in common with her teammate Gabby Douglas, they don’t appear to get along very much.
In fact, Simone has called her out on social media twice.
Once for not returning text messages and the comments Gabby made to their teammate Aly Raisman after she revealed she had been abused by a former team doctor.
Now Simone is in a similar situation that Gabby knows all too well.

After folks starting claiming she got her hair done as a result of the backlash, Simone made sure to set some things straight:
People do way too much. It’s just hair.
I don’t get the policing of hair. She was dancing the whole game. I think she’s allowed to have poofy hair.
This is why her and Gabby should be close. They will have the same experiences. I hate that they didn’t mesh.
They pulled the same exact mess with Gabby. So sad.
