‘Black Ink Crew’ Recap: Sky Gets Hurtful Update About Genesis + Teddy Sleeps with Jadah

Black Ink Crew Season 6 Episode 13 Recap: Kitty Kitty Bang Bang

Teddy takes an interest in Jadah.

At the shop, Jadah opens up about the craziest thing a man has ever done for her. She says that a man in prison paid her rent.

Teddy is intrigued by this. He also recalls Walt flipping over a table when he found out Jadah was messing around with Donna.

“Jadah’s p*sy  must be made of gold. Note to self, I may have to send for that.” – Teddy

Richard calls and says Nikki had the baby. He texts a picture and Cease is still salty that Nikki is back in the picture.

Cease later suggests the group takes a ski trip. They will have Bae’s bachelorette party the same weekend.

Sky and Cease catch up to talk about how the conversation went with Genesis.

He explains that he saw so many similarities between Genesis and Sky.

“It’s like he got anger in him…it feel like he had a rough life so far. He’s been through a lot. He broke down.” – Cease

Cease says that in Genesis’ mind, he feels like Sky should have reached out to him.

“I know it ain’t true but he feels like you don’t give a f*ck.” – Cease

Sky starts crying and says she gave Genesis and Des a better life.

In a green screen interview, Cease says that Genesis’ actions shows that he loves Sky. All he wanted was a relationship with her.

Cease says that both Sky and Genesis need each other. Sky says she doesn’t know what she has to do to make him understand that he matters to her.

Crystal and Cease shop for Christmas trees with their daughter, Cheyenne.

Cheyenne is not impressed by any of the trees. In a green screen interview, he says she’s to spoiled and ungrateful.

She tells Cease and Crystal that she wants diamonds, sneakers and a car for Christmas.

Crystal asks if Cease is still going to spend time with Cheyenne the upcoming weekend. He explains that they are having a bachelorette party for Bae and ski trip this weekend.

He gets called out for not spending enough time with their daughter.

Melody hears from relatives.

Melody tells Lalo that she was contacted by her aunt on Facebook. Her dad left home when he was 16 and doesn’t really talk to his side of the family.

She says she’s half black but it’s such a strong part of her identity. So she wants to meet her.

In a green screen interview, Melody says she didn’t tell her father yet because this is something she has to do for herself.

Melody plans to respond to the message.

The party bus arrives to take the gang to the ski resort.

They drink and party on the way. Bae’s bachelorette party isn’t until the next night. While on the bus, Cease and Kitty low-key exchange flirty glances.

When they get to the resort, they stop for lunch.

In a green screen interview, Kitty says that she hopes her romance with Cease will remain a secret because it’s romantic being under the radar.

At the table, Sky calls for a toast.

Crystal and Cheyenne then stroll in, surprising Ceaser. Crystal says Cheyenne wanted to come and they plan to ski for a few hours and go home.

The gang goes skiing later that night. They have  good time even though none of them seem to have any skills.

Ceaser enjoys his time with his daughter and Crystal but he can’t wait to spend the night with Kitty after they return to New York.

Melody meets her dad’s family, including her Aunt Coco and great uncle.

She takes her son and Lalo with her.

Coco tells Melody that her father was very creative when they were kids. She says that their mother put a lot of pressure on Melody’s father. Since he was the man of the house at 12, he tried his hardest to help provide for the family.

“He left because he was overwhelmed.” – Coco

She reveals that this happened when Melody’s father was 17.

When Melody asks why her father isn’t in touch with Coco and his family now, Coco seems to think it could be due to guilt.

Teddy and Jadah go there.

The gang finally arrives to their ski house. They love it immediately and it even has a mini bowling alley. Crystal pops up again without Cheyenne (who returned to New York) and says Bae invited her to the bachelorette party.

“I’ma need a room.” – Crystal

Cease is not pleased.

The doorbell rings. It’s a group of white people Walt met at the resort.

There’s a flashback scene of Walt handing out flyers and inviting people back to the house.

Everyone starts drinking.

Teddy and Jadah start flirting. They go off in a bathroom to get busy. The others hear the action from outside the door.

Crystal stays to herself and sits alone as she watches everyone else party and drink.

Cease is annoyed by this and ends up having a conversation with a white woman. Kitty sees this and gets frustrated.

She calls out Cease and he says he can’t help it if he’s attractive.

He proposes they spend some time together in his hot tub. She agrees.

When he gets to his bathroom, he finds a woman in his bath tub.

“You need to get the f*ck out. I’m expecting somebody.” – Cease

She’s drunk and he tells her she has to leave. As he tries to help her out the tub, Kitty goes off and storms out of the bathroom.

Sky goes off after she finds out what happened between Jadah and Teddy.

The next morning, Sky gets up and asks everyone if anyone slept together last night. No one wants to tell her about Jadah and Teddy.

They tell her Cease may have gotten freaky with someone who isn’t Kitty. In a green screen interview Kitty says she will never sleep with Cease again.

Crystal then says that Teddy and Jadah slept together.

Sky is not happy.

Teddy and Cease then come in the kitchen. Sky asks Teddy if it’s true that he slept with Jadah. He denies this and Sky removes her shirt to make use of her “lie detector” which is just her boobs.

She asks him again and says her breasts will jump if he’s lying.

He says no and she makes her breasts jump.

She then starts yelling and reminding everyone that Teddy is off limits to everyone else in the shop.

  1. I have to say, the only interesting thing this season has been Sky and Genesis. Other than that, it’s just been a filler type season.

  2. Sky never hears Genesis side. She’s too quick defend herself and just refuses to see where he’s coming from. That would frustrate me too.

  3. Sky is mad annoying yo. You and Teddy ain’t together and ain’t been together which means he can mess with whomever he wants. And didn’t he smash Donna ? You never gave her shit for it. And why does everybody sleep with each other in this damn show. I know Harlem isn’t that small. Makes me feel like in order to be a part of the cast you have to smash somebody in Black Ink. They do more smashing than tattoos. Shit is just sickening
