In a preview clip for the upcoming episode of “Fix My Life,” Iyanla becomes irate with Hazel-E’s mother as she denies ever recalling a time where Hazel-E was assaulted.
In the clip, Iyanla asks Hazel-E’s mom, “have you ever made space for your daughter to share with you her experience of what you created in her life?”
“Probably not.” – Hazel-E’s Mom
She also claims she didn’t know that Hazel was violated as a child. Hazel jumps in, reminding her mom that “the black girls” violated her.
Iyanla asks Hazel if they did it because “they was black?”
“In my brain, that’s what I go back to.” – Hazel-E
“With Ms. Hazels revelation, I now see that her behavior towards dark-skinned black women is the result of the trauma she suffered when she was just a little girl.” – Iyanla
Next, Iyanla gets angry with Hazel’s mom as she flipped-flopped answers on whether or not she remembered the revelation.
“You are just totally unaware of what you do. Somebody violated your baby girl, and you trying to figure out where you live. That’s a problem.” – Iyanla
She then angrily asks her how she couldn’t remember her daughter being violated, as she throws cards of Hazel’s lyrics.
“How the h*** you don’t remember!” – Iyanla
Hazel is probably just doing this show for damage control.
Sorry that happened to her but that doesn’t give her a right to be hateful towards dark skinned women.
she looks odd. Lighter doesnt mean cute
I just don’t think this will change Hazel at all.
This sound like some bull, she’ll say whatever it takes to not look like a d-mn fool over her comments
