BBW Recap: Evelyn and Jennifer Get Real Messy With a Rumor About Cece

Evelyn and Jennifer recap Malaysia’s event.

The episode opens with Evelyn and Jennifer hiking in the hills. While walking, they recap Malaysia’s party with her family. Evelyn feels it was brave for Jackie’s daughter Chantel to come over and talk.

They also talk about Malaysia’s family. Evelyn tells Jennifer about a rumor of Cece flirting with the young men at the gym. She also can’t “get past her big a** t******.”

Jennifer than tells her about Shaunie bringing up Evelyn’s jokes. And Evelyn gets angry over Tami’s shade and says Tami’s starting “to look a little sick” from all of the “cigs and beer.”

Cece invites Jackie to her dance studio.

Meanwhile Malaysia brings CeCe and Kristen to meet with her and Jackie. Jackie is still angry about Chantel going over to talk to Evelyn. Overall, they all seem to get along.

The next day, Evelyn stops by Shaunie’s. They point out Evelyn’s “revenge body,” and Shaunie is impressed. In fact, they talk about the break up. Evelyn is also “conflicted” about what to do about her embryos, especially since they are linked to her ex’s sp*rm.

Reggie tells Tami that Evelyn idolizes her.

Tami and Reggie are at home and he’s helping her take selfies. She’s angry that Evelyn has been impersonating her walk but Reggie tells her that Evelyn idolizes her.

“She wants your hustle or something, but it’s weird.” – Reggie

Although they agree that it’s okay for Shaunie to laugh at Evelyn’s impressions, Tami says they were silent at Tami’s comedy show when she made jokes about Evelyn. She also brings up how Jennifer was shady behind Evelyn’s back.

“Does she know everything you said about her?” – Tami

Shaunie hangs out with Kristen as Thomas trains Shaunie’s son Shareef. Shaunie is excited for her son because he’s verbally committed to UCLA to play basketball like his father. Kristen brings up how it is with a toddler now, and Shaunie says it reminds her of when she first had her kids.

Jackie sees her friend Ogom aka OG, who plays in a women’s professional football league. Ogom dates Kwame Alexander, who plays basketball overseas. After practice, OG invites Jackie to play in a practice with the team.

After the practice, Jackie says it “felt like an orgasm” to be out there.

Evelyn and Jennifer spill the tea about Cece.

Meanwhile, Kristen hangs out with Evelyn and Jennifer at a vegan cooking class. They also recap the party. Jennifer brings up how the men look like grandfathers.

“Do I look like I want a grandfather?” – Jennifer

While talking, Evelyn brings up the rumor she heard about Cece flirting with guys at the gym. She also heard Cece gives “happy endings” in her spa. In her interview, Kristen says Cece needs to know about this, calling it slander by her clients.

Evelyn and Shaunie stop by Van Lathan’s “Red Pill” Podcast for an interview.

During the interview, they’re asked which ex they would call if they’re stranded. Shaunie says she would call Shaq and Evelyn would call Chad Johnson. Evelyn also says that she didn’t give Carl the engagement ring back.

“I feel like if I cheated, you can get the ring back.” – Evelyn

Kristen tells Cece about Evelyn and Jennifer’s shady rumor.

Meanwhile, Jackie stopped by Cece’s dance studio for a lesson. Kristen stopped by and she’s looking at her differently after hearing Evelyn’s rumor.

After the lessons, Kristen tells Cece about the happy ending rumor. This angers Cece who feels this is harmful to her character. Jackie says Evelyn is just spreading harmful rumors, like she feels Evelyn did to her.

Jackie and Tami meet up for wine tasting and Jackie tells her she likes Bonnet Chronicles. Tami emphasizes that she and everyone else knows that ,“Doug is off-limits.”

Tami also tells Jackie to give Reggie advice about proposing if he asks. Malaysia comes in as they begin wine tasting and Jackie, of course makes them uncomfortable. She says the wine should make, “their nipples hard.”

But things get serious when Malaysia relays Jennifer telling Evelyn and the group about Tami’s shade. Malaysia also brings up how Evelyn and Jennifer spread the Cece “happy ending” rumor.

Malaysia feels she need to stop the rumors before they get out of control as they are family.

Cece and Tami confront Jennifer for being messy.

The next day, Malaysia meets Cece and Kristen and tells Cece that she’ll have her back. They also say they don’t want this spiraling out of control. Tami and Jackie stop by to chat with the ladies and they are still cordial.

But things get tense when Jennifer arrives, and Tami calls her “Messy Mona.”

Jennifer is perplexed and Tami tells her about the sly joke she relayed back to Evelyn and the group. Tami says, “That’s creating drama.” Kristen then turns the conversation to Cece’s rumor. Jennifer says this rumor came from Evelyn and says, “They were making a joke about it.”

Malaysia steps in and says she’s ruining the reputation of her cousin and his girlfriend.

“I just want to make sure my reputation isn’t damaged, I have a lot to lose.” – Cece

After the conversation, Tami leaves, and Jennifer follows her out. Outside, Tami tells her, “don’t be the bone carrier.”

Jennifer says when it comes to the rumor about Cece, she wants to just make sure who she’s hanging around isn’t a home wrecker.

“You’re around a home wrecker… already.” – Tami

Evelyn faces a tough decision about her eggs.

Evelyn meets with her doctor about her eggs. She’s ready to move on but it’s still devastating to her. He doctor asks if she and Carl are getting back together.

“No.” – Evelyn

The doctor then brings up embryo adoption, but Evelyn still isn’t sure about it. These questions ultimately bring her to tears as it hits her that her relationship with Carl is over for good.
