RHOP fans know that Ashley Darby’s marriage to Michael Darby has been tested plenty.
But the biggest obstacle for the couple happens to be Ashley’s mother Sheila and her finances.
Michael has been sending money Sheila’s way for years, but decided he had enough when she refused to end her toxic relationship to her longtime boyfriend.
He even told Ashley she had to cut her mother off financially in order for them to stay married.
Sheila’s refusal to part ways with her boyfriend also caused Michael to stop paying her rent.
This sent her packing on one of the episodes.
So after Ashley hounded Karen Huger about being rumored to be really living in an apartment, Monique tweeted the following after the episode aired:
Ashley told a follower with a similar comment that she’s not going to pretend for the camera.
