Shaunie plans a trip to Amsterdam.
The episode opens with Shaunie meeting with her business partners Turk and Tyrone. They are meeting about their dispensary idea, and Shaunie’s showing off their merchandise.
They also try out a vape with THC oil. Shaunie gets shown how to use the vape, and she’s excited to open their dispensary. Turk tells Shaunie that’s everything ahead of schedule.
She reveals to Turk and Tyrone that she wants to head to Amsterdam to visit experts with dispensaries.
Kristen’s still frustrated with Cece.
Meanwhile, Kristen’s on FaceTime with her mom. She tells her mom the nanny she interview sucked and she’s frustrated about it. Kristen also tells her about the issues between her and Cece, telling her about the text messages she received from Byron.
She tells her mom she wants to talk to Cece to try to alleviate her frustrations. During her conversation, Kristen says Cece’s nervous about their frustrations seeping over to Byron and Thomas.
Her mom reminds Kristen to be respectful in getting her point across.
“You’re a strong black woman. I raised you.” – Kristen’s mom
Tami tells Reggie she doesn’t want to get married.
Reggie and Tami are hanging out at home and Reggie’s making drinks. However, things get serious as Tami tells him that she’s no longer interested in becoming engaged.
Reggie’s not happy in her change of heart.
“That’s selfish, babe.” – Reggie
Tami explains that she’s scared about becoming engaged despite Reggie never having children. In her interview, she says she knew Reggie wanted children.
“I don’t want to travel that road with Reggie.” – Tami
“We just gotta cross that bridge when we come to it.” – Reggie
Malaysia plans an event for a women’s shelter.
Malaysia and Zell Swag are hanging out with Tami after her talk with Reggie. They recap Jackie’s PSA event where Tami and Jennifer had another confrontation.
Zell brings up Jenifer’s breath again as they all shade Jennifer.
Malaysia then brings up a community service idea for a women’s shelter in Compton. Not only is she donating clothes from her home, she’s setting up an event where women and families can come in and “shop” for donated clothes. She’s encouraging the other ladies to stop by and donate clothing, except for Cece, Jennifer and Kristen.
Malaysia says she’s against the drama, and doesn’t want it at her event. In fact, she feels if Cece and Kristen don’t resolve their drama soon, it could mess up their family dynamic.
Shaunie doesn’t want Jennifer going on her trip.
Jackie and Shaunie hook up for food and drinks later on, as Shaunie wants to invite the women to Amsterdam with her. Well, invite everyone except for Jennifer, because Shaunie’s still cold towards her.
Shaunie asks Jackie if she’s tried weed, and Jackie says, “I get stuck on stupid.”
“I don’t need Jackie getting n*ked, running down the street.” – Shaunie
Interestingly enough, Tami declined Shaunie’s invitation. When Shaunie says she doesn’t know Cece, Jackie stands up for her, recalling the time where she called Evelyn and Jennifer “Dumb and Dumber.”
“She’s in! I like messy!” – Shaunie
Zell gets shady when O.G. shows up empty-handed.
It’s the day of Malaysia’s event for the women’s shelter and Zell is there, helping Shaunie out. Jackie and Tami arrive with their clothes and other items to donate.
Ladies from the shelter arrive and they have a wonderful time trying on the clothes. Tami tells people there of a time where her mom lived in their car when Tami was a teen.
O.G. arrived, but angered everyone when she shows up without her clothes. She tells them that she had an accident and other things happened, resulting in her forgetting her clothes.
Zell expressed frustration with O.G. leaving her clothes. Despite being frustrated, Tami brings O.G. aside to ask about Kwame’s cold feet. She tells O.G. she hasn’t spoken to Reggie much since their last talk.
Zell continues to be shady, having O.G. take a photo of everyone who donated clothes. Despite the shade, O.G. took it in good strides.
Evelyn fights for Jennifer, but Shaunie doesn’t budge.
Meanwhile, Shaunie invites Evelyn over, showing off her huge connect-4 game.
Shaunie invites Evelyn to the event and says Tami’s not going. She also says Cece and O.G. are Jackie’s plus two, and Evelyn side-eyes Cece. She says that Cece looked down upon her.
“Are you curing cancer? You’re not.” – Evelyn
When Evelyn asks if Jennifer could go, Shaunie’s still against it. She wants Jennifer and Shaunie squash their beef, but Shaunie’s not interested.
“She should just understand I don’t want that on my vacation.” – Shaunie
Shaunie takes Myles and Shareef a potential place for them to stay near UCLA. Shaunie’s fearful that Myles could turn the place into a raunchy bachelor pad. They arrive and the place’s decoration impresses Shaunie.
While in the place, Shaunie grills her sons to focus on school and she will have a key. She feels that Myles could run the dispensary for her.
Evelyn still plans for Jennifer to head to Amsterdam.
As Shaunie hangs with her boys, Evelyn hangs with Jennifer at a spa. Evelyn tells Jennifer about the trip and Shaunie not inviting her.
“Got it, I got the memo.” – Jennifer
Evelyn tells Jennifer she feels Jennifer could talk to Shaunie. Jennifer says the last time she was with the girls, she felt like a target.
“Well I’m glad you didn’t pepper spray her.” – Evelyn
Ev still insists Jennifer heads to Amsterdam so she can talk to Shaunie when the “witch” isn’t going. Jennifer’s going to think about it.
Cece and Jackie are hanging out at home and Jackie wants to double date with her. They also talk about the trip and Cece didn’t tell Byron about the trip.
Jackie says Cece and Kristen need to squash their beef. She reveals that Cece took Byron to her home country when Kristen gave birth to Kenzi. She says she didn’t know when she planned the trip, and feels this could be a big source behind their issues.
Cece agrees to try to resolve their issues.
Reggie decides to stay with Tami.
Reggie and Tami are out for a date, although it’s not a usual activity. Tami feels Reggie may break things off.
However, he just expresses an understanding of Tami not wanting to make that next step.
“You knew from the jump what I wanted.” – Reggie
Despite everything, Reggie’s willing to stay.
“This man never disappoints me.” – Tami
They end their date on a good note, with Tami happy Reggie’s not breaking up with her.
