Watch: Tamar Braxton Reveals Why She Slammed Iyanla on Twitter + Talks New Boyfriend

Tamar Braxton and Iyanla Vanzant Update.

There were many highlights from Tamar’s recent appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show.”

All of it wasn’t sad news though.

She did confirm that she is in a new relationship. Her new boyfriend is Nigerian, very handsome, and went to Harvard Business School. He has a successful career in finance.

They have been together for three months and Tamar is very much in love. She is open to having more kids and getting married again.

The couple met at a birthday party for Tamar’s friend.

When it comes to Vince, she is the one who filed for divorce. She just believes they were both miserable and now deserve to be happy apart.

Vince no longer manages her career and he doesn’t manage Toni either as far as she knows.

Tamar also reiterated that Vince did not get another woman pregnant. She was told that but it turned out to be false. At this point, she feels she had an Instagram meltdown when she revealed such on the platform.

She also told Wendy that she doesn’t have money problems. The same seemingly can’t be said for Vince.

As far as the WE tv protest is concerned, she isn’t mad at Traci. She understands Traci had to do what’s best for her. Tamar just wishes she would have told the family she wasn’t joining the protest.

Iyanla Vanzant also came up.

Rumor has it taping with her and the rest of the Braxton family didn’t go so well. Tamar even slammed Iyanla on Twitter.

When Wendy asked Tamar what went wrong, this is what she had to say:

I’ve been battling myself on whether or not I want to say really what happened or not…A lot of things happened in my childhood that I was too afraid, too ashamed to talk about. But the truth of the matter is I’ve been molested by both sides of my family.

It’s nothing I never talked about. And I never thought that I would sit around the table with Iyanla who’s here to talk about me and my sisters and their problems…and to bring that up and s*x shame be basically in front of everybody. So that’s why I got up and walked out.

Tamar also responded to her mother Evelyn accusing Vince of being abusive.

That’s not true. Here’s the thing. My mom, she was born in the 40s. So their interpretation of abuse is yelling and screaming and throwing remote controls.

I wasn’t getting my head bashed in. He wasn’t slapping me in the face. I wasn’t punching him in the throat.

No type of abuse and if there was a type of abuse, I would say. And I wouldn’t put up with it number one.
