Scott returns home to give Contessa a recap of the party drama.
Before they can talk about things, she tells him her dad still isn’t doing well. He’s been sleeping a lot and lost a lot of weight.
“I’m so worried about what’s going on with him.” – Contessa
Her dad has Crohn’s Disease. She says he hasn’t been taking his medication.
The subject then changes to what Toya did at the party. Contessa is annoyed that Toya told the party guests that Contessa isn’t her real friend because she wasn’t at the party.
She feels like Toya celebrates mediocrity all the time and she has real life issues to worry about. Not Toya’s pettiness.
Quad is a no-show, again.
Dr. Jackie and Dr. Heavenly decide to have a paintball session.
Quad was invited since they haven’t seen her in a while. The group feels she’s been avoiding them because she doesn’t want to talk about her separation from Dr. G.
Heavenly feels that Quad should have at least reached out to Jackie to get some advice since Jackie has been there before.
In a green screen interview, Jackie says that despite what she went through, she never broke away from the group.
It’s also noticed that Quad is still spending a lot of time with her Sister Circle co-stars. She’s even referring tot hem as friends.
A few minutes later, Heavenly gets a text from Quad saying she can’t come because she has an emergency meeting. So Jackie and Heavenly go forward with their paintball session without Quad.
Simone is teaching her son Michael how to drive.
She’s decided the safer car for him to drive is the Jag since it’s an older car.
It doesn’t take long for Simone to call Michael out for speeding and not keeping both hands on the steering wheel. He also struggled to parallel park.
“Everyone get in the house. Lock your doors. Michael is driving.” – Simone
When they get back inside, they talk about Simone and Cecil’s status. She tells Michael that they have been getting counseling.
He says he’s noticed that things have been better between his parents.
Michael also didn’t like that they came to one of his games separately.
In a green screen interview, Simone says that Michael is her most sensitive child. But he feels both of his parents are stubborn.
Contessa gets some scary news from her father.
She’s is in the kitchen cooking for the family.
She’s happy he’s doing a little better. Scott tells her that her father is acting like someone going through chemo.
When her father and the kids enter the kitchen, he tells them that his energy level is so so.
“When I’m at home, I don’t have this problem.” – Contessa’s father Gerald
His PSA level is 300, so his doctor thinks he has Prostate Cancer. He doesn’t want to do anything until a biopsy confirms this.
This news hits Contessa hard. She feels he’s refusing to accept his diagnosis.
Gerald starts crying and Contessa hugs him while she cries as well.
She wants him to be around for a long time.
“There’s no cancer.” – Gerald
Contessa tells him he’s very important to her but she can’t tell him what to do. He tells her he will keep her in the loop.
They hug it out.
“As long as you’re okay, I’m okay.” – Gerald
Lauren is growing up.
Mariah’s daughter Lauren wants to redo her wardrobe.
She feels she has outgrown most of her clothes and they are too babyish.
In a green screen interview, Mariah says she feels Lauren is very spoiled to be throwing out expensive clothes.
Regardless, Lauren feels she’s getting old enough to make a transition. Looking older than what she is will make people stop thinking she’s a little kid. She’s getting ready to start high school.
“When I graduated high school I was 88 pounds.” – Mariah
Things get a little serious after Mariah tells her that her friends got pregnant at Lauren’s age. Mariah herself was given birth control pills at Lauren’s age and it offended Mariah. But she gets it now.
So she tells Lauren to keep “books over boys” and wait until she’s married to do the deed.
Toya and Eugene are looking for a new home.
The house is very lavish. In a green screen interview, Eugene says their finances are great now. So they feel they are ready to buy a bigger house.
“We’re finally in a place where we need to find our forever home.” – Eugene
It’s the house of Toya’s dreams, and also has an elevator. The pool is huge.
“I have no complaints.” – Toya
$2.9 million is the list price. Eugene and Toya say the house is out of their $2 million budget.
After asking the real estate agent to leave them alone to talk, Toya tells Eugene that they don’t need to get the house because they will struggle again.
But Eugene says he will work more hours to get the house.
“I love it but no. We gotta find something else.” – Toya
Both agree to keep looking.
There’s a lot of tension between Toya and Contessa.
Heavenly is having a crab broil.
She’s hoping it will bring all the ladies together. Quad is expected to show up but Heavenly isn’t holding her breath.
In a green screen interview, Heavenly says Quad showing up would be good for her, so she can open up about her marriage problems.
Alaura and Heavenly struggle a bit with the crabs. They end up on the ground and Heavenly is too afraid to pick them back up. She names one of the crabs Mariah.
Simone shows up first and isn’t thrilled to see the crabs on the ground.
After the crabs are placed in pots, Simone says she’s about over Quad. She felt they were close, but she’s over Quad icing out the group.
She says Quad hasn’t even been returning her phone calls.
“We’re either friends or not.” – Simone
Mariah is the next to show up. Contessa shows up not too long after her.
Dr. Jackie will be arriving late due to work obligations.
Contessa lets everyone know she heard about Toya’s behavior at the party. Mariah feels all Contessa had to do was tell Toya she couldn’t make it ahead of time.
Toya then arrives.
The change in Contessa’s demeanor is noticeable.
It doesn’t take long for Contessa and Toya to have tension. Toya says it would have been nice to get a phone call from Contessa saying she couldn’t come.
Quad is discussed.
Drama follows Quad’s arrival.
While Contessa feels the group can be judgmental which keeps Quad away, everyone else feels Quad participates in being judgmental when it’s not pertaining to her.
A little while later, Quad arrives. She speaks to everyone, including Mariah.
Simone immediately places her in the hot seat and asks her where she’s been lately.
She says she’s reached out to everyone so she doesn’t understand the issue. Toya says that a phone call would have been nice.
Contessa says she didn’t get a phone call from Toya about her dad and they start arguing.
Toya says she doesn’t deal with women who talk behind her back.
“Eagles don’t roll with chickens so I don’t have nothing to say to you, ever.” – Contessa
Simone’s pressing leads to a Quad meltdown.
Quad says she has enough on her plate and she tells Simone to just drop it. In a green screen interview, Quad says this is why she doesn’t come around the group.
Simone then says that Quad thinks she’s better than everyone else. She then storms off.
After this, Quad asks Heavenly what is going on. She feels the women aren’t acting like real friends. She then starts crying.
“This is not sisterly.” – Quad
Toya and Heavenly say that Quad has been icing everyone out. She cries and attempts to leave.
Contessa gets Heavenly and tries to talk Quad out of leaving.
Toya feels that it’s easier for Quad to cry and run off instead of talk things out. Contessa starts crying and says it’s not okay for everyone to be attacking Quad.
But Heavenly doesn’t see this as an attack.
“This is not nothing but a conversation.” – Heavenly
But Quad feels attacked. She feels no one actually cares about her feelings.
Quad and Mariah nearly come to blows.
Mariah, Toya and Simone stay back. Simone feels like Quad isn’t owning up to her actions.
After it’s noticed that Quad left her purse behind, Mariah gives her back the purse and feels Quad has an attitude with her. So she confronts her about her attitude and they start arguing.
Quad shoos her away and this upsets Mariah who tries to slap Quad’s hand away. After this, Quad then gets in Mariah’s face and screams that she never tried to hit Mariah. She tells Mariah that she knows better than to ever think she’d assault her.
Things get intense, and Mariah follows Quad into a room to talk more. An angry Quad slams the door behind her, shutting out the camera crew.
Inside, Mariah tells Quad to push through. Heavenly comes in to check on them and sees they are good.
Meanwhile, Simone says that Quad isn’t the only one going through things. Her marriage hasn’t been good either but she continued to come around the group regardless.
Quad tells Mariah that she feels the other women should be understanding since most of their marriages are struggling as well.
Mariah then says that some people just feel they have been open about their issues and Quad hasn’t.
After Quad says that the women aren’t being sisterly, this angers Heavenly. She reminds Quad that all the women care about her and she’s wrong to act like they aren’t real friends.
She tells Quad she’s sick of the BS and storms off.
