Cease is still upset that Sky is going to Texas for four days.

She knocks on his door and tries to lift his spirits with alcohol.

“I wanna assure you that you’re going to be fine without me for a few days.” – Sky

After Cease explains that all everyone wants to do there so far is party, Sky says he needs to get them back in check. The gang then heads to Bourbon Street.

Melody is considering reaching out to family in New Orleans.

Back at the shop, Melody, Jadah and Kitty look at the first few photos of Baby Nico.

They discuss the New Orleans trip. Melody says she has family down there but they are racist. Her mom is white and her dad is black.

When her parents got married, her mom was cut off by her family.

This makes Melody emotional. Her parents are still together and she thinks that’s a testament to how wrong her white side of the family was.

She wonders if she should go to New Orleans one day and confront them.

Donna goes off on Alex.

The gang is still drinking and enjoying Bourbon Street.

They head to a strip club.

Teddy once again notices that Walt is drunk.

Donna pops up at the club to speak to Alex as a dancer is dancing on him. She felt guilty about their last argument and found out they were at the strip club on social media.

“I come all the way down here to surprise you and this is the sh*t you doing?” – Donna

She goes off on him and Alex says she’s acting out for no reason.

It doesn’t take long for Donna to start throwing drinks at him.

Alex is turned off by Donna’s behavior. After security restrains her, Donna tells him they are done.

Back at the new shop, the fellas talk about Alex’s blowup with Donna.

Ceaser doesn’t want Donna there because she will be a distraction to Alex. He wants her to go back home.

They have a soft opening party coming up soon for the new shop. Everyone is told to promote the party.

One of the new artists comes by. His name is Ace and he will be working in the New Orleans shop. Ace tells them that he’s been in the business for ten years.

Sky arrives to Texas.

It’s the day of Des’ graduation.

She’s excited as her mother and best friend greet her at the airport.

In a green screen interview, Sky gets emotional and says that she’s so proud of Des because he’s so well rounded.

They sit with Des’ adopted mom and cheer when Des walks across the stage.

Des hugs Sky after the ceremony. She’s thankful that they have gotten close.

Melody makes that phone call.

Bae comes to the shop with Baby Nico.

She catches up with Melody and says watching Rob be a father has been making her so emotional. He’s the father to Nico that she herself has never had.

As she explains this, she breaks down in tears.

Melody says that she understands because being a mother has changed her. She wants to know her mother’s side of the family.

With them being racist, she is afraid to reach out.

But she wants her son to know both sides of the family.

“People change. You never know. They’re older now and I’m pretty sure they miss your mother too.” – Bae

After this is said, Melody says she found a number to one of her cousins named Pete.

“Well you will not know how they feel about you if you don’t try.” – Bae

Bae urges Melody to call Pete. She picks up the phone and dials the number.

Pete says he’s not that close to Melody’s mother Karen. When she asks if they can meet, Pete says he’s pretty busy and he can call back after he thinks this over.

They hang up the phone.

“I knew this was a bad idea.” – Melody

She starts crying.

Since Pete didn’t seem enthusiastic, Melody regrets calling.

Des is having a graduation party.

Sky thanks Kandice for being a great adoptive mother to Des. Both wish Genesis would come around. In a green screen interview, Sky says she’s made peace with the fact that he’s angry with her.

What she can’t accept is that Des and Genesis have grown apart. She hopes that changes in the near future.

She tells Des she has a surprise for him.

That surprise is a new car. Des has a surprise of his own. Since the car is for college, he says he can’t take it because he’s enlisting in the army first.

This news doesn’t sit well with Sky.

“When did you decide this?” – Sky

He says that he leaves the next day.

A stunned Sky can’t even think of the words to say in response.

Donna agrees to meet with Alex.

She’s still in New Orleans and he feels guilty about what happened between them.

He tries to give her flowers and a teddy bear. She snatches the flowers from him and tosses them in the water.

Seeing him be around the dancers made her upset. Especially when she came all the way from New York to be with him. But Alex says that’s unfair because they were there to celebrate Cease’s birthday.

In a green screen interview, she claims Alex went too far and had his hands on dancers.

Until he can realize that, Donna doesn’t want to deal with him.

As she walks away, Alex tells her he loves her.

“I love you with all of my heart.” – Alex

This changes everything and Donna says she loves him too.

They start kissing.

Sky meets with Des before a recruiter picks him up.

The recruiter is coming to make sure Des actually leaves for the army. Sky wants to make sure this is what he wants to do. But Des says he’s sure about this and he can go to college for free. He’s also going to be getting paid to go to college via the Army.

She wants to stress that she’s supporting what he chooses to do but she’s just scared. They just got close and she’s not ready for him move away.

When the recruiter gets there, Sky hugs him goodbye.

Cease fires Walt and Donna.

It’s the day of the soft open party.

Teddy and Tati are still flirting.

By 10pm, there are still no guests.

Cease gets annoyed that Walt is drinking again.

Ace says he didn’t hear anything about the party. Apparently no flyers went out. Walt was responsible for putting out the flyers.

Irritated by this, Cease asks what time Walt told people to come. Walt says he told them to come at 9pm. It’s after 10.

So Cease goes off and throws a plate of crawfish on the ground. He calls out Walt.

Walt says he invited people and he can’t be blamed.

“You’re not doing your job. And you’re being a f*cking drunk.”

Cease then tells Walt that he’s fired.

“F*ck you, Cease!” – Walt

Walt storms out the shop.

A few minutes later, Donna walks in.

“Hey guys!” – Donna

“What are you doing here? You supposed to be in New York!” – Cease

After going off on Donna for not being at 113th to run things while he’s away, he decides she should walk too.

He tells Donna she’s fired as well and anyone else with a problem can leave as well.
