Friendships continued to get tested on “Married to Medicine.”
First was the epic fallout between former besties Mariah Huq and Quad Webb-Lunceford. It’s now clear that both ladies may never be friends again.
Mariah Huq and Dr. Heavenly are also on bad terms. Even though Heavenly credits Mariah for pulling strings to get her on the show, they can’t seem to stop clashing. Now things are bad between them because Mariah accused Dr. Damon of cheating on Heavenly.
Things are also rocky between Dr. Simone and Quad. Simone feels like Quad has been icing out the group as she deals with her split from Dr. Gregory.
And now there’s increasing tension between Dr. Contessa and Toya Bush Harris.
Toya has already been feeling some kind of way about Contessa after Contessa made it clear last season that she thought Toya and Dr. Eugene’s in the black party was nonsense.
So when Contessa didn’t make it to Toya’s birthday party which also celebrated Eugene’s recent highs in his career, Toya threw some shade while thanking the guests who did show up.
This did not sit well with Contessa’s husband Dr. Scott, but Eugene stood by his wife’s actions on Twitter.
Regardless, both ladies meet up for dinner on the next episode to hash things out. When Toya tries to tell Contessa how she feels, Contessa is really dismissive and feels Toya needs to get over everything. In her opinion, Toya’s reasons for being upset are petty.
