Joe Budden returns.
He’s now in the podcast game and things are really taking off for him.
The retired rapper is also in a serious relationship with Cyn Santana. They just had a son named Lexington a few months ago.
In a green screen interview, Cyn says that she’s happy things are going great for Joe’s career, but she feels like he doesn’t spend much time with her anymore.
As Cyn is relaxing by the pool, Joe comes out to see her. He brings out their son and Cyn questions why he brought the baby out. She wanted some time to do some freaky grown up things by the pool.
“Just because we had a kid, doesn’t mean we have to let go of each other.” – Cyn
So she suggests they take a vacation soon but Joe isn’t sure he can do that.
Safaree catches up with Joe and Rich.
Joe brings Lexington with him.
While watching Joe be a father, Safaree says he’s ready to do the same. He tells them that he never slept with Lyrica or did anything romantic with her.
He’s ready for another shot at love.
They change the subject, and Safaree says he wants to perform at the Dyckman Basketball Tournament. Joe doesn’t think this is a good idea because it’s always a tough crowd and they only want to hear hit songs, which Safaree doesn’t have.
Juelz is having some serious legal problems.
Things have gotten pretty rough for Kimbella and Juelz.
After getting addicted to Percocet, Juelz was high one day at the airport. Unfortunately, he forgot he had a loaded gun in his luggage.
He was busted by TSA and he’s currently out on bail and on house arrest.
Since he and Kimbella aren’t married yet, his mother was assigned as his point of contact. So he’s not allowed to live with Kimbella and the kids.
Of course this has made things really stressful.
Things don’t go well for Safaree.
He performs at Dyckman and gets booed by the crowd.
They even started throwing water bottles at him. So he went off on them before leaving. That of course included him taunting the audience about not being able to sleep with the caliber of women he has been able to.
The whole situation went viral.
Addiction is another problem for Juelz.
Kimbella visits Juelz at the house.
They are still together but are living apart due to Juelz’s home arrest situation.
Juelz opens up to a counselor about being hooked on Percocet. He says he started taking them after he got some dental work done. For Kimbella, all of this has been a lot. She’s been with him for several years but the addiction has been hard to handle. Add that to the infidelity she dealt with in the past, and things have been very difficult.
Although Juelz is now clean, Kimbella says that now they have to worry about him possibly being sentenced to prison.
Alexis Skyy is back.
She now has a daughter. In a green screen interview, Alexis says that Fetty Wap is the father.
At this point, Alexis is focusing on her rap career and daughter. Alexis heads to a New York office to sign a record contract with TreyWay. It’s also the label Fetty and 6ix9ine are signed to. She wants to become the next 6ix9ine.
After she had her daughter prematurely, she wants to do everything she can to take care of her.
Fetty Wap comes up during the signing meeting. The TreyWay exec questions if she can be cordial being signed to the same label as Fetty.
“There’s unfinished business between us.” – Alexis
With Fetty not claiming her daughter and refusing to take a DNA test, Alexis can’t promise that things will be smooth.
Minutes later, Fetty comes by the office to congratulate Alexis on her new deal.
This angers Alexis and she says she’s about to snap as Fetty takes a seat beside her.
She hasn’t seen Fetty in about five months and he doesn’t answer her calls/texts about their daughter.
When Alexis asks if Fetty will ever acknowledge their daughter, Fetty says he was at the hospital too support Alexis when everything happened. And he will eventually do a DNA test but he’s waiting on Alexis to pull the trigger.
This is news to her but the TreyWay exec tells them to cut out their personal drama at the office. So they agree to discuss everything at another time.
Rapper Maino wants to help his girlfriend cope as a shooting victim.
Maino is performing again.
He’s in the same building where the infamous shooting took place.
His girlfriend Maggie was shot in the leg at this place on that night. So performing there again is a big deal to the both of them.
Jaquae and Joe come out to support.
In a green screen interview, Jaquae says that he and Kiyanne broke up.
They discuss what went down at Dyckman with Safaree. Jaquae was there and witnessed everything.
Maino says that Safaree confuses him because he raps like he’s a gangster but isn’t that way outside of the studio.
In a green screen interview, Maino says he feels a lot of rappers nowadays aren’t real. And that comes back to haunt them.
As for Maggie, he’s just focused on helping Maggie emotionally move past being shot at his show. It’s scarred her emotionally and physically.
Alexis, Kimbella and Cyn catch up.
They discuss motherhood and Alexis’ latest career moves. She explains that she did see Fetty again at the label’s office and they aren’t on good terms because he won’t claim their daughter.
Regardless, she feels her daughter needs to know her father.
Cyn says she feels neglected by Joe because it’s always about the baby and Joe’s career.
She wonders if things have changed because they have a baby now.
Kimbella tells Cyn to be a little more aggressive.
“Pull his d*ck out.” – Kimbella
Alexis and Cyn start laughing.
Joe checks in on Safaree after the Dyckman incident.
Safaree tells Joe what happened.
He claims the crowd started throwing stuff at him first.
But Joe says this is BS because Safaree’s lyrics were violent. And that’s why the crowd wanted to try Safaree while he performed.
Joe tells Safaree to stop acting like a target. He can do that by no longer dressing flashy and rapping violent lyrics like he’s about that life. It’s also revealed that Safaree made a diss song for Dyckman after the incident.
Since women make up the majority of Safaree’s fan base, Joe says Safaree needs to change up his tactics.
Cyn has had enough.
While recording his podcast in front of an audience, Cyn gets on the mic to ask Joe a question.
She asks him if she’s the best relationship he ever had.
He jokingly tells her he loves her more than anyone else “this year.” The audience laughs and Cyn is thinking they can finally end their dry spell later that night.
They leave together and while in the car, Cyn suggests they go to a hotel and get busy.
But Joe would prefer to go home to Jersey to be intimate instead. This angers Cyn and she demands to be let out of the vehicle.
Joe follows behind her and tries to calm her down. He explains that timing is the problem.
She’s not hearing this and storms off.
Juelz has a dilemma.
Kimbella and Juelz have a family day.
The judge granted Juelz one day to go out with his family.
So they head to the park with the kids.
He gets a phone call. Apparently, next week he has to decide if he’s going to go to trial or take a plea deal. If he heads to trial, he’s looking at five years. If he takes the place deal, he’s looking at about two years.
Juelz doesn’t want to take the plea deal because he feels he’s innocent.
This news makes Kimbella cry.
Juelz hugs her and tells her to pray and hope for the best.
