While discussing what went down with Asha at Robert’s birthday party, Robert decides to spill some tea to Shanique.
To refresh your memory, Asha didn’t like the fact that her husband Larry’s ex Aneesah was invited to the party.
But Shanique claimed it wasn’t a messy move.
Robert echoes this in a preview for the upcoming episode:
Aneesah, I met her during residency.
So over the years, we’ve just become really, really close.
She’s come to baby showers, she’s gone on trips with us. And any event that I have, she’s always there. That’s like family.
He also claimed that there may have been an “overlap” when it comes to the timeframes of Larry’s relationships with Aneesah and Asha:
I don’t know if he was ever engaged to Aneesah. But the funny thing is, before I even met and knew who Larry was, he was trying to make things work with Aneesah and him and Asha was on a break or something.
There was overlap. If Aneesah talks to Asha and they start talking about timelines and the timelines don’t jive, that could be an issue.
