Dr. Britten’s family is heading back to Orlando.

The family spends a little time together at the pool.

She’s tired of her husband Mack and their kids living on an entirely different coast than her.

After the kids go back in the house, Britten and Mack discuss their future.

Mack says it would be expensive to move to LA.

He would prefer to live outside of LA instead.

But he will commit to giving Britten more time to find a place.

Asha and Larry discuss the party drama.

To no surprise, Asha is still upset with Shanique and Robert. She really doesn’t like that Shanique called her insecure.

Larry feels like Robert and Shanique could have given them a heads up about Larry’s ex Aneesah being invited to the party.

They pull up to a doctor’s office to discuss their options on starting a family.

Since Asha is 39, the doctor recommends that they have unprotected s*x everyday. Asha is also going to get off her birth control.

Robert spills the tea.

Shanique and Robert grab a bite to eat.

They have been married for 11 years. Robert feels like date night is partially responsible for that.

The drama with Asha is discussed. Robert doesn’t understand why it’s an issue that he invited Aneesah because they are friends.

He then tells Shanique that there was overlap when it comes to Larry’s relationships with Asha and Aneesah.

Dr. Noelle works with a patient needing help with anxiety.

They do some yoga.

In a green screen interview, Noelle says yoga helped her deal with her anxiety while she was in med school.

She refused to get on any medication.

Imani wants to reach out to her dad.

They have been in communication but she hasn’t seen him since she was 11.

He’s struggled with drugs for years.

Regardless, Phil says he will support whatever she decides to do.

So Imani sends her dad a text telling him she would like to see him.

He texts her that he’s at work and he needs some time to think about it.

Phil tells her not to expect too much.

Jazmin is throwing a dollhouse themed/barbie brunch.

As she’s setting things up, Shanique stops by.

All the women were asked to dress up as barbies.

Shanique says she refuses to fight with Asha at the brunch.

The women start arriving.

In a green screen interview, Noelle and Asha say they have never met Jazmin’s husband. They find that strange since they have known her for over a year.

As they discuss how big Jazmin’s house is, they hint that they believe Jazmin’s husband may be a drug dealer on the side because he can’t afford the house on a doctor’s salary alone.

Jazmin is biracial.

Her dad is Persian and her mother is black. So she says she felt out-of-place growing up.

Asha and Britten go off to the side to talk.

They discuss the fact that Larry doesn’t really seem like he wants to have a baby.

Neither Asha or Britten are buying Larry’s excuse of being worried about finances. They feel like he makes enough money for children.

They then discuss the fact that Britten didn’t want her kids to see her crying before they left.

Her mother, a black woman, was very tough and stoic. She learned it from her and had to also be tough to be in the military.

She gets a little emotional as she discusses watching her kids leave for Orlando again.

After the heart to heart, both women return to the rest of the group.

The women discuss some controversial topics.

All the women have taken a seat at the table.

When Jazmine asks all the women how they feel about the brunch concept, Noelle says she was offended.

Noelle says she never cared for dolls. Her black mother was her role model.

She feels like dolls only encourage society’s racist beauty standards.

At four years old, her daughter asked to dye her hair blonde.

It took years to teach her daughter self-confidence.

Imani says that she understands the problem people have with dolls. She wanted straight hair.

Britten says she wanted kinky hair and brown skin. She hated that she didn’t look like the rest of her family.

But she doesn’t feel like dolls should be blamed for low self-esteem. Not too long after Asha discusses how black women are expected to do whatever for the white man’s gaze, Jazmin says she wanted to look like her big sister who happens to be brown-skinned.

She then says the purpose of this brunch was to have these kind of conversations.

Jazmin’s mom then tells all the women to love themselves and love their differences.

Minutes later, Jazmin has all the women straight down the pink runway as she takes their pictures.

Imani, Britten and Shanique go out for drinks.

They discuss Shanique’s fallout with Asha.

Shanique says that she did tell Robert that Aneesah coming may not be a good idea, but Asha knew Annesah was going to be there before hand.

Britten and Imani feel like she should have decided not to come if she was bothered.

“Now I can’t be fully mad at you no more.” – Britten

After discussing Asha, they then talk about Jazmin’s brunch. Shanique asks both women what they thought about it. Both Britten and Imani have more to say about the house than the brunch.

“I was like, this sh*t looks like a drug dealer house.” – Imani
