Candiace makes a startling confession.
While talking to Chris about how bad things have gotten with her mother, she reveals in a green screen interview that her mother assaulted her.
Apparently, this occurred at one of her best friend’s wedding.
Candiace and Dorothy got into an argument in front of people and Dorothy hit Candiace in the face with her purse.
This was a very embarrassing moment for Candiace and she breaks down in tears as she discusses it.
Monique learns about what Candiace told Gizelle.
Ashley and Monique have a heart to heart.
After Monique wraps up her maternity shoot, they talk about what went down in New Orleans between Candiace and Ashley. Ashley says she now knows how Monique felt when they fell out over the drinking accusations.
Monique and Ashley are glad to be in a much better place.
Then Ashley tells Monique that Candiace told them Monique said Katie looked like Amistad.
Monique said she never said that and what she said was completely taken out of context. Since she thought she and Candiace were building a friendship, she’s hurt Candiace would even do that.
Gizelle found a house.
The house will require a lot of work but Gizelle sees the potential. She’s hoping to pay $900,000 for it although it’s been listed for $1.7 million.
She brings her mother along with her realtor to discuss her vision.
Gizelle’s mother is confident that Gizelle can turn the house into what she wants it to be.
It’s time for Ashley to confront Candiace.
Ashley makes Michael get rid of his pool table.
She feels it’s the best thing to do before they have children.
Michael says they are going to become boring and grow old like Karen and Ray.
They then discuss how Michael has had a hard time processing Ashley’s miscarriage. Ashley is shocked that Karen was so supportive when they hung out recently.
In the meantime, Ashley is still feeling some type of way about Candiace. She doesn’t like that Candiace has been saying that she isn’t really buying Michael and Ashley’s story of a miscarriage. But she’s going to still go to Candiace’s upcoming dinner party.
Robyn and Juan have to make a decision.
Juan and the boys bring Robyn breakfast in bed.
She realizes that her situation with Juan has to eventually change at some point.
The kids are a bit confused by things.
So she’s thinking they are going to have to remarry because shacking up can’t be long term.
Candiace and Monique clash.
Monique and Candiace meet up for a bite to eat.
They have some small talk, but Monique decides to confront Candiace about what she told Gizelle she said about Katie.
Candiace says that she took it that Monique said that Katie was looking rough.
At this moment, she says Gizelle is the one who said that Katie looked like a slave. But producers flashback to the scene of Candiace confirming Gizelle that Monique said Katie looked like a slave.
Monique says she didn’t say this and she actually said Katie is a free spirit. She made no mention on Katie’s looks or style of dress.
Candiace tells Monique that she felt like she was prejudging Katie. At this point, Monique says Candiace is acting like her mother Dorothy and picking her apart.
The upsets Candiace and she tells Monique not to bring up her mother. She feels like this was a low blow.
Candiace also tells Monique that she didn’t like that Monique told her she’s turning into how Ashley was last season. While Candiace strongly disagrees, Monique feels like Candiace’s actions with Gizelle prove her point.
It’s the day of Candiace’s dinner party.
Robyn and Gizelle get there before everyone else.
Ashley comes up in the conversation and Candiace says she heard Michael say he wanted to suck one of the husband’s d-ck.
Robyn says she thought she heard that too.
Candiace is convinced Michael and Ashley’s marriage is a sham.
Robyn and Candiace say after Michael made the comment, he and Ashley disappeared for like 30 minutes. Chris also says he heard the comment as well.
“I understand why Candiace doubts this Ashley and Michael world. I’ll never question Candiace again.” – Gizelle
All the women wonder if Michael does these things only when he gets drunk.
Not too long after, Monique and Karen then arrive.
Minutes later, Ashley gets there with Katie.
In a green screen interview, Ashley says she is there to give Candiace a chance to say what she’s been saying behind her back to her face.
It doesn’t take long for them to argue.
After Candiace says Ashley and Michael are lying about having a miscarriage, things get really explosive. She ends up wielding a butter knife in Ashley’s face after Ashley reminds her that the house they are in actually belongs to Candiace’s mother Dorothy.
Candiace then tells Ashley not to talk about her mother and Chris has to hold her back.
Ashley tells Candiace to get the butter knife out of her face.
As Chris restrains Candiace, she then throws the butterknife at Ashley.
