Ashley’s father refuses to speak to her.
When Ashley finally makes it to her father’s door with her mother, aunt, and uncle; he opens the door.
After he sees that Ashley is there, he closes the door. Even after Ashley says she wants to meet him, he turns off the lights.
This hurts Ashley and she breaks down in tears.
Ashley drives off and her aunt, mother, and uncle say her father is just a mean person.
“I waited three decades for this.” – Ashley
Robyn is thinking about starting a trucking business.
So she goes to look at trucks.
“I’m trying to build an empire.” – Robyn
Gizelle joins them. They learn a truck may cost Robyn around $150,000.
Robyn is taken to a green truck she likes and told that she can drive it around the lot.
Later, Robyn tells Gizelle she’s inviting Monique to her open house event.
She tells Gizelle to be nice to Monique because she’s pregnant.
Karen and her sister Bridget honor their parents.
They decide to release balloons and pray for them.
Dorothy gets checked by Candiace’s sister.
Candiace goes wine tasting with her mother and sister Crystal.
Crystal is ten years younger than Candiace. Crystal’s father is Candiace’s stepfather.
When they discuss how therapy has been going for Candiace and Dorothy, Dorothy gets irritated.
She tells her daughters the issue is kids don’t respect their parents anymore. Crystal then tells Dorothy that parents are also supposed to respect their kids.
Monique then becomes the topic of conversation.
Candiace tells them they are having issues and Gizelle told her Monique thew her under the bus. But Dorothy and Crystal tell Candiace to try to hash things out because the friendship is a good one.
Ashley updates Michael.
She tells him what happened with her father.
Ashley breaks down in tears but tells Michael she was grateful for the brief moment of eye contact.
But she realizes that her father cut off her mom, his sister, and brother in law as well. So there’s nothing any of them can do.
Robyn has her opening.
She’s proud of the progress she made on her flipped house.
Monique arrives and the drama begins.
She tries to hug Gizelle and Gizelle accuses her of being fake.
It leads to an argument in front of prospective buyers, which upsets Robyn.
Candiace arrives and gets dragged into it. Ashley and Monique explain why Monique showed Candiace’s text messages, and Candiace says she feels it’s weird to see Monique cool with Ashley again.
Monique questions why Candiace cares so much and she says she doesn’t.
She then calls Monique out for “threatening” her and Ashley reminds her that she threw a knife at her.
As the arguing continues, Robyn continues to stew.
