Kristen still ices out CeCe.
The episode opens with Kristen and Thomas hanging out in the city getting tacos. During their lunch, Thomas asks if Kristen is ready to sit down with his dad. Kristen is willing to sit down with him but she doesn’t want CeCe there. Thomas brings up how there are people in their family who are looking for clout.
Meanwhile, OG stops by her practice facility to talk to her LFL coaches. OG’s interested in possibly coaching in the league and gets some advice about making the transition. They give her good advice and feel like OG can make it happen.
Shaunie and Evelyn also hang out in the city and Evelyn schools Shaunie about the lie detector test. Jackie failed the questions regarding going to the blogs about her alleged concussion. Interestingly enough, Shaunie’s dating life comes up. It’s been a year since she’s been in a relationship and she’s really interested in seeing what’s out there for her, even with her ex Shaq always being around. So Evelyn tells her she’s going to set them up with a matchmaker.
Jackie questions her friendship with Evelyn.
CeCe and Jackie lastly link inside VIP of a club. Jackie tells CeCe about her podcast that’s coming out and she invites CeCe to a taping. Of course, Jackie also tells her about the lie detector test Evelyn set up for her. CeCe says it’s malicious for Evelyn to do that for Evelyn.
She openly wonders why Jackie even went through with it. Interestingly enough, CeCe compares that experience to Kristen and Londen ambushing her earlier in the season. That situation still rubbed her the wrong way and she tells Jackie that Kristen needs to apologize to Byron soon.
Later, Kristen and Malaysia take a Brazilian dance class. After the class they speak about Kristen having a sit down with Byron. Malaysia also brings up her current beef with Jackie. Kristen explains to Malaysia that she messed up with Byron and really wants to apologize. She already feels bad that her dad can’t see her daughter and wants to make things right with Byron, however, she still doesn’t want anything to do with CeCe. So she decides not to invite her to her house in lieu of just Byron. Malaysia tells Kristen this is wrong. But Kristen doesn’t care.
OG talks to Jackie about Evelyn.
Meanwhile, OG stops by Jackie’s for a drink. OG’s planning a retirement party and told Jackie about looking into coaching. She also invited Jackie and the cast to her retirement party. Jackie tells OG about her podcast and how it’s going to be a roundtable sit-down debate. She’s also inviting everyone, except for Feby and Malaysia. Jackie really wants Jennifer to show up so she can apologize for her behavior at the charity event. Things get tense when OG says Evelyn called Jackie crazy during the event. Jackie already felt ambushed at the lie detector sit-down and this comment from OG makes her feel worse about Evelyn. Plus, OG tells Jackie that Evelyn wouldn’t confirm they are friends.
So now, Jackie wants to know the truth about Evelyn.
Speaking of Evelyn, she takes Shaunie to her friend’s speed dating event. Shaunie’s suspicious of the men in the room, and her suspicions were with merit. Both of them had plenty of awkward moments.
Back at her team’s practice facility, OG’s welcomed by her teammates and coaches with open arms. Her team decided to bring her in to try out coaching. Through this experience, OG believes this is the beginning of stability in her future along with Kwame looking to stay stateside for a chance in the NBA. Her tryout goes well and that impresses the coaching staff.
Jackie apologizes to Jennifer.
After practice, the coaches give OG positive feedback and OG accepts it with open arms. Things worked out and the staff invited her to return. Jackie was also there and she was impressed with everything OG did at practice.
Later, Jennifer heads to Jackie’s podcast roundtable and Jackie pulls her aside to apologize. Jennifer expresses to Jackie that what she did at the event was distasteful to her. Jackie says she regrets her actions. Especially since Jackie’s mother died from cancer. CeCe and OG also show up to the event and the podcast gets juicy. However, Jackie’s frustrated because the other girls didn’t show up. This makes her question Evelyn and their friendship even more.
CeCe and OG have an intense workout session with CeCe’s brother Jason as she preps for the wedding. Jason asks about Bryon and his kids and CeCe mentions how it wasn’t cool how Kristen invited Byron to dinner without her. Meanwhile, Byron makes Kristen frustrated when he skips out on the dinner she planned for them. Apparently, Byron was upset that CeCe wasn’t invited. Kristen tells Thomas her feelings are hurt as Byron decided to head to a baseball game instead. Back at the gym, Jason consoles CeCe and tells her that she still has Byron and their family in their corner.
Evelyn and Jackie hash things out.
Lastly, Evelyn and Jackie link up and Jackie’s looking for answers. Meanwhile, Evelyn’s nervous about what to expect from Jackie. Jackie reveals her disappointment in Evelyn and the others not showing up. She also tells Evelyn how OG said Evelyn called Jackie crazy. Evelyn says OG was just desperate and is lying causing problems between her and Jackie. Next, Jackie says it hurt that she took the lie detector test. But Evelyn says they are cool and OG is just being messy.

These woman are such a bad example of black women empowerment. All these women do is tear each other down.sad..I respect Shaunie Tami and even Malaysia ,maybe OG,but the rest smh..Perfect example of mean girls..remember how they used to call Tami ghetto,but Jennifer and Evelyn act like hood rats..I mean cmon they are mothers.it’s not ok for older women to be fighting in the streets like that.This is such a bad look.
