Cease goes off on Donna.
The gang discusses the drama at the party. Mike and Q’s fight led to Krystal getting fired by Puma. Neither Mike nor Q feels it was fair that Krystal has been terminated. Not too long after, Puma shows up to the shop with Quani. After Mike and Q say they want Krystal rehired, Puma says he did the right thing. So Ceaser says he supports Puma’s decision.
Sky strolls into the shop next. They discuss the Brooklyn shop, and Donna speaks her mid. She tells Cease that she doesn’t think it will be safe to have a shop there. In fact, other shops in Brooklyn have stated they don’t want Black Ink there on social media. Cease takes this seriously, and he goes off because his best friend Corey was killed in the first shop he had in Brooklyn. So Cease kicks everyone out the shop.
Sky gives Donna an idea.
Later on, Donna shows up to Sky’s place. They discuss Cease’s blowup. Donna explains that she wasn’t trying to upset Cease. She used to work in Brooklyn so she knows how things can be. She was just trying to warn Cease of potential danger
They change topics. And Sky confirms she’s opening up her own dog modeling agency after her dog bombed the audition. Alex is also discussed. Donna says she will break up with him if he doesn’t propose soon. But she likes Sky’s idea of putting on a wedding dress to see Alex’s reaction.
Donna’s comments weigh on Cease.
Cease catches up with Puma and Sky. He admits Donna was right. And he went on social media and saw that other shops in Brooklyn don’t really want them there. Even though Puma assures him that everything will be fine, Cease isn’t sure if the grand opening is going to happen.
Bae’s mother comes a day earlier. She pops up at the shop and surprises Bae. Bae is thankful she will have help for Niko.
Jess and Walt make up.
Walt asks Jess to come by his studio. They haven’t really spoken since their blowup. When she comes inside, he shows her photos of their happier moments hanging on the wall. He now realizes that they will disagree on things but he wants her in his life. She makes his life much better. So they hug it out and agree to work on their relationship.
A trip back to the past is therapeutic for Cease.
Cease picks his mom up and they go to his old shop in Brooklyn. He believes going back there could give him some understanding. Cease feels responsible for his friend Corey’s death. He says he should have shut the first shop down because the area was really violent and they were getting threats. Cease doesn’t want anyone else to lose their life. So he feels like he doesn’t need to go forward with opening a new shop in Brooklyn.
Cease moves forward.
Bae comes to Donna and Alex’s apartment. Donna takes Sky’s advice and has on a wedding dress when Alex comes home. Bae helps her put on a pretend wedding ceremony. He’s not feeling it and says that Donna is making a joke out of marriage. He storms out of the apartment and Bae is stunned.
Cease visits Corey’s mother. She tells him Corey would be proud of him if he was alive. He comes to the conclusion that he has to go through with opening up the Brooklyn shop. Cease feels like he has to do it for Corey.
