Sky thinks Kitty is another Dutchess.
The morning after Kitty was fired, the situation is weighing heavily on everyone’s minds. Bae is worried about Kitty and can’t get in touch with her. And Walt is trying to not let the situation interfere with his upcoming comedy show. Luckily for Walt, Jess surprises him at the rental house in Cleveland.
Sky tries to talk to Cease about Kitty. She tells him that he can’t fire her. And she doesn’t believe he’s cared about a woman this much since “Dusty Dutchy.” But Ceaser doesn’t agree because he was going to marry Dutchess. So he feels the situations aren’t the same. The Ryan situation makes him see a different side to Kitty. And after things spiral out of control with Dutchess, he doesn’t feel like going through that again with Kitty. Sky asks Cease if he loves Kitty, and he doesn’t answer.
Alex has an important conversation with Donna’s father.
After Alex’s meeting with Donna’s parents doesn’t go the way he wants, he meets up with her dad again. Alex asks for her father’s blessing to propose to Donna. Donna’s father appreciates this and gives Alex his support to propose.
Walt is rehearsing for his comedy show with Jess in attendance. He’s really nervous but ready at the same time. Later on, the gang begins to stroll in for Walt’s show. Kitty still shows up and confirms she is filing a lawsuit against Cease for wrongful termination.
Walt has a successful show and Sky and Cease arrive after he finishes.
Kitty hears Sky out.
Sky pulls Kitty to the side to talk to her about the situation with Cease. She tells Kitty that Kitty was not actually fired because she didn’t approve it. Kitty tells Sky that she never slept with Ryan and the rumor started because she was photographed at a convention at Ryan’s booth. Sky breaks down in tears and says that the issue is Cease is still hurt that Dutchess “embarrassed him.”
Sky wants Kitty to at least have a conversation with Cease about everything.
Jess and Walt get engaged.
Walt plans a surprise dinner at the museum for Jess. He breaks down in tears and proposes. She happily accepts. They tell the gang the good news and Donna convinces Cease and Kitty to talk.
Kitty tells Cease that she didn’t sleep with Ryan. However, Cease doesn’t believe her. After another heated exchange, Cease and Kitty try to talk in a room without the camera crew. Cease is heard telling Kitty that her close friends told him she slept with Ryan. Kitty asks him if he still has his mic on and the episode ends.
