Last season was a tough one for “Black Ink Crew Chicago” star Charmaine. Not only was she fired by Ryan, but she was accused of cheating on Neek with Van. It later came out that this rumor was told to Don by Van.
Charmaine denied she did anything with Van. And she slammed Don, Van, and Phor on social media and an interview. She also unfollowed them on Instagram.
While fans of the show figured all of this would be addressed on the upcoming season, it’s being reported that Van is no longer on the show. Blogger OMFG Reality TV made the revelation and also confirmed other departures.
Lily’s alleged departure from the show isn’t exactly shocking since she has been wrapped up in a controversy for using the N-word.
While some of the cast has made their exits, rumor has it VH1 is trying to shake things up by adding a very familiar face. And that person is Draya from “Basketball Wives LA.”
On the “Black Ink Crew Chicago” official website, it says that Draya is a self-taught tattoo artist. And she mastered her craft by watching videos on YouTube. But some family drama may distract her from moving forward with a tattoo career. While this could be someone else named Draya, VH1 did link to her Instagram and Twitter accounts on the updated cast section of the website.
The updated cast descriptions also reveal that Charmaine is pregnant and newly married to Neek. Her mother recently passed away and her death will be the driving force behind Charmaine making amends with Ryan, Phor, and Don.
In other casting news, a woman named Jessica started a new tattoo shop with Charmaine and becomes major competition for Ryan.
