Ryan Henry open up about what happened to his sister and niece on “Black Ink Crew Chicago” and “Fatal Attraction.”

Black Ink Crew Chicago” star Ryan Henry decided to walk away from the show to focus on handling business away from the cameras. Recently, he took to Instagram to urge women to get out of violent relationships. In 2009, Ryan lost his sister Nova Henry, and niece Ava Curry to domestic violence. The killer is serving life in prison while Ryan and his family are still grieving. On the day of the killer’s birthday, Ryan had some things to get off his chest, hoping it would help someone.

Ryan wrote, “Happy birthday, to this ***** *** *****. He sittin somewhere rotting away still celebrating it. I hate doing this annually when I’d rather just shut in, but Ladies, this is for you..feel how you feel about me but I represent something more. I keep my Sister and Niece’s Story Alive to this day, 15 years ago which feels like yesterday, not for sympathy, but for the fact that it has and hope to continue to help women all over.. today was His birthday, they were broken up and separated and he just wanted to see her and please let me in just today cuz it’s my birthday. already had a gun on him, already knew what he intended to do. As she was shot six times, final shot to the head, and Ava at 10 months shot twice, final shot to the head.”

He continued, “I say this to say, that if you see the signs of things getting bad with that man… it don’t get no better. Take those signs and get the **** away! Without a dime, you still need to leave. I don’t believe that time heals all wounds cuz l’m ****** forever and my family was torn apart with me just now dealing…but I’ve lived to make her proud and would rather have them back. Our novastar plans for the future will be to house and shelter runawav women and children from these same situations who feel they have nowhere to go and no way to get away… take heed ladies. You are worth it all and use my family’s loss as your strength… **** that *****. I don’t care what God He finds in prison for life, I will never forgive, he will not find God and go to the same heaven as my sister and niece…
#NovAva 1/24”

  1. I love his message. Always leave because he’s right, it doesn’t get better. That demon deserves much worse than life in prison for killing those babies. Pure evil.

  2. My condolences to Ryan & family & friends. Women do need to heed his message. We tend to make excuses for the behavior. Mistake it for love somehow.
I was in one some 30+ years ago but I faught back. Yeah it was crazy but at the same time you don’t hit and not expect to get hit back! I beat the heβ€’β€’ outta him too! He was begging me to stop. I got in my car and left. No… I’m not recommending anyone to do what I did but I defended myself, that’s all.

  3. I hate that families have to go through the trauma of living without their loved one for the rest of their lives. Someone so dear to them and my heart breaks πŸ’” for Ryan and others who are really going through this. Sorry 😞 for your loss. May the Lord help you all get through this most difficult time πŸ™ πŸ™πŸ™

  4. Some Women are hard headed! It needs to be studied!
