Marlo’s event is discussed by Cynthia and Kenya.
Kenya stops by Cynthia’s place. Cynthia wants Kenya to help her organize her closet before Mike comes to town. Mike’s side of the closet is small. She wants to make more room for him. Kenya doesn’t think this is necessary before they get engaged. Cynthia doesn’t agree and she says she’s tired of Kenya bringing up the fact that they aren’t engaged.
The two women then discuss the drama at Marlo’s wig launch. Kenya has no regrets about strolling in there with a marching band and promoting her own products. After Cynthia tells her that Marlo said Kenya is paying child support, Kenya says this is a lie and Marlo makes stuff up too much. This is why they are not friends.
Marc is briefly discussed and Kenya confirms that they are still in a rocky place.
Todd’s relationships with Kaela and Riley bother Kandi.
Kandi gets a visit from her friend Carmon. They catch up and Kandi says Todd wants to start more businesses, including OLG Breakfast. She’s not feeling this because they have a baby on the way. So she wants him to slow down some.
He’s also not on talking terms with his daughter Kaela. Kandi then reveals that Todd doesn’t have the best relationship with Riley either. And even though Riley and Kaela will be in New York at the same time, Kandi doesn’t expect them to hang out because they don’t hang out in Atlanta. She’s hoping they can all figure out their blended family situation eventually.
NeNe’s friendship with Porsha may not be revived.
Porsha and Marlo meet downtown to do the Peach Roll Pedal Tour. In a green screen interview, Porsha says she’s been in a great place with Marlo since they have been spending time alone. They have some small talk and Marlo says Porsha hasn’t said anything to any of the ladies about what’s going on with Dennis. Porsha isn’t ready to do that yet. NeNe becomes the topic of discussion and Porsha says she can’t forgive NeNe body-shaming her right after she had PJ.
Tamara, NeNe’s Life Coach, stops by the house for another session. NeNe has been seeing Tamara for a few months. They discuss Kenya’s behavior at Marlo’s event. NeNe said she left because she felt herself getting angry, and she hopes Marlo understands. Although NeNe wants to be in a better place with the rest of the ladies, she’s not confident about going on Tanya’s trip. So Tamara suggests NeNe sees where she is with all the women before going.
Marlo and Porsha go to Dennis’ restaurant after the tour. After buying some food, Marlo FaceTimes Dennis since he’s not there. She tries to get Porsha and Dennis to say they love each other and this irritates Porsha.
Kandi has concerns.
It’s the day Kaela leaves for New York. In a green screen interview, Kandi says that she wishes she was closer to Kaela. And there are times that she wants to do more for her but Todd says no because Kaela’s in her 20s. He wants her to be more independent. Kandi tries to respect this because Kaela is Todd’s firstborn. And Kandi didn’t come into the picture until Kaela was like 17. However, Kandi fears that she may clash with Todd as they raise Ace and their daughter together.
Cynthia, Mike, Eva, and Michael go on a double date. They discuss the recording and Mike says whoever recorded Cynthia is “a piece of sh*t.” Eva believes Marlo is a prime suspect.
An Estate Planning session makes Kenya emotional.
Kenya meets with a lawyer to get some answers about estate planning. She wants to protect her assets and Marc talked her into not getting a prenup. Her house was recently valued at $1.8 million. She wants to leave her house and haircare business to her daughter.
Setting up a trust will help Kenya protect herself. She breaks down in tears while discussing her situation with the attorney.
Dennis and Porsha talk things out.
Porsha has another session with D. Sherry. Not too long after Porsha arrives, so does Dennis. Dennis says him cheating was a mistake. This upsets Porsha and she says cheating is not a mistake. Dennis made the conscious choice to step out. And until he owns that, they can’t work on their relationship.
Dennis also says that it was hard to have s*x the way he wanted with Porsha while she was pregnant. Porsha says this is bull and they had s*x throughout her pregnancy.
He goes on to say Porsha’s postpartum depression was bad and it caused a strain on their relationship. They cried together every night.
Dennis is remorseful.
Porsha then says that this is why she can’t understand why Dennis cheated. He knew better than anyone else how much she went through while she was pregnant.
Dennis says he was selfish to cheat. And he’s remorseful.
Porsha says they need to start working on their relationship if they are going to be together again. She won’t be in a relationship with him if he can’t be faithful.
They hug each other even though Porsha isn’t sure how long it will take for her to trust Dennis again. But she knows she will take her time.
