Walt’s blowup is discussed.

The gang talks about Walt’s blowup at his engagement party. Puma says he understands why Walt got upset because it does seem as if they always mess up his big moments. So Tati getting on the mic and making a shady joke during the party was the last straw.

Donna is concerned Walt may be getting out of control with his drinking again.

Regardless, Puma thinks there could be more to Walt’s anger. And he hopes Walt will talk to someone about it soon instead of just holding it all in.

Jessica suggests therapy.

Walt and Jessica discuss the party. At this point, Walt feels like he had no other choice but to just walk away from the situation. He says the gang was being disrespectful at their engagement party.

Jess doesn’t like that Walt wants to plan the wedding without her. And she’s concerned about his mental health. So she thinks they should both go to premarital counseling. After hearing this, Walt says he’s not really conformable with doing something like that. He’s always handled his problems without therapy. Walt wasn’t raised that way. And eventually, he will be fine.

But he tells Jess he will think about it.

Young Bae gives Donna a major update.

Bae tells Donna that her father reached out to her recently. He made small talk and asked how she’s been doing. She didn’t have the best past with him because he was abusive. So they haven’t spoken in years.

He’s possibly coming to New York and he wants to see her if he does. Apparently, he found Bae’s address through a Korean app that helps locate people.

Bae has a lot of questions for her father. She wants to know why he was angry with his family. They never did anything to him to deserve the treatment they received.

Quani agrees to a date.

Puma runs home to try to talk Quani into having a quickie in the afternoon. But she’s not interested because the baby has been taking a lot of her energy. Of course, Puma is disappointed and he feels as if they don’t have fun anymore.

Puma jokingly blames the kids for messing up things. Luckily, Quani agrees to go on a date as long as she gets to plan it.

Alex strikes out with Donna.

Donna and Alex have date night and play some games. Although Donna tries to tell Alex about her situation with Tati, Alex interrupts her and says they should take things to the next level. He wants to have a baby.

This is not what Donna wants to hear. Alex already has a child and they have their dog Smoky. So this is enough for Donna at the moment. Alex is disappointed. He doesn’t understand why Donna wouldn’t want to have a baby. But Donna reminds him that she wanted to get married first.

Alex doesn’t see the big deal and says that Donna can get pregnant before they get married. So Donna calls him selfish and ends the conversation.

Teddy gives Bae advice.

Bae tells the gang that her father has been in contact. He will be in New York the next day, so he’s going to come see her. This is not something that Bae is ready for. But Teddy says he thinks she should do it because she’s in a different place in her life. She’s not a child anymore and she can handle this.

But Bae is still conflicted about it. Minutes later, her client Austin comes in for a new tattoo. He wants wings to show off all the growth he’s had in his life.

Date night isn’t what Puma expected.

Puma and Quani have date night. Turns out Quani booked them for an S&M session. Quani decides Puma will be the “submissive” one. So he gets tied up and she hits him, as well as shocks him a little bit. This is a disappointing date night for Puma.

Jess and Walt open up.

Walt and Jess arrive at their first therapy session together. While they are there, it’s revealed that Walt cheated on Jess before. So they broke up for a few months. It’s hard for her to completely trust him again. On a scale of 1 to 10, she’s at a 7 as far as trusting him. The therapist says this means work needs to be done.

Walt is ready to do all the work required to get Jess to a 10.

Donna opens up to Tati.

Donna tells Tati about her conversation with Alex. Her ectopic pregnancy was a scary situation. So she’s not happy Alex asked to have a baby before marriage. She could die if she gets pregnant. That’s if she can even get pregnant again.

Alex is a great boyfriend. But Donna says he should respect her feelings and propose first.

Bae sees her dad.

When she sits down to talk to him, the conversation doesn’t go far. Bae yells out him for hurting their family all those years and she breaks down in tears. Security has to step in when Bae’s rage kicks in.
