Trina and Trick discuss Joy.
Trick Daddy and Trina have a new morning show on 99 Jamz. It’s a big opportunity and both are happy about this. While they are at the station, they discuss the trip to the Bahamas. Trick feels as if Joy just won’t let go of what went down between them in the past. He apologized and this made Joy get emotional.
Trina thinks Trick and Joy should sit down and talk things out now that they are back in Miami.
PreMadonna is over Amara.
Miami Tip and PreMadonna talk about Amara La Negra. Tip says that Amara is upset because PreMdonna didn’t give her a heads up about Annie coming to talk to her. But PreMadonna doesn’t feel like she had to do this because she wasn’t friends with Amara. They were just cool and Amara is using the situation to play victim. And she believes Amara was just looking for a way out of her relationship with Emjay anyway.
Trick and Joy struggle to express their feelings.
Joy has actress and life coach AJ Johnson come to Trick’s home. She’s a mutual friend and she is also worried about Trick. Both women try to convince him to adopt a healthier lifestyle. But Trick doesn’t want to eat healthy food. And he gets irritated when Joy says he looks pregnant.
AJ steps in and says that the real issue is the pent up feelings Trick and Joy have for each other. It’s hard for Trick and Joy to even say they love each other. Joy eventually tells Trick she loves him. And Trick says it back. Both are very uncomfortable after saying this.
Trick then says that Joy is the only person who ever hurt him. And Joy didn’t care that she hurt him.
Joy gets angry and says that she’s concerned about him. He has sleep apnea but he’s not trying to do better. She breaks down crying and says Trick doesn’t care that his loved ones are worried about him.
But Trick doesn’t think Joy loves him, so it’s hard for him to take her advice at times.
AJ tells them that they really need to learn how to listen to each other.
Sukihana spends time with her kids.
Sukihana spends time with her grandmother and kids. At this point, Suki’s kids live with her grandmother in Atlanta so she can work in Miami. Although her kids want to live with her, Sukihana tells them that it will happen eventually. In the meantime, the kids are just happy to get an ice cream sundae.
Hood Brat and Kenny hash things out.
Kenny and Hood Brat talk things out. Although Kenny apologizes for not telling Brat he was married, she isn’t happy that he wasn’t upfront with her. But Kenny says that he will never keep anything from her again. And he’s willing to prove this to her.
Shay gets real with Amara.
Trick and Trina throw a party to celebrate their new radio show. Shay pulls PreMadonna to the side to talk to her about the Annie situation. PreMadonna says Amara is blowing it out of proportion. And she’s convinced Amara is using the situation as a way to move on from Emjay. Shay agrees and says she needs to talk to Amara.
When Shay sees Amara, she says that it just seems like Emjay was good enough for Amara until he wasn’t. And while it’s nothing wrong with wanting a partner who is financially stable, Amara should just tell Emjay she’s ready to move on if that’s what she really wants. But not being completely upfront with Emjay isn’t cool.
Trick gets good news.
Joy and Trick talk. She tells him that the party shows what Trick can do if he stays focused and makes his health a priority. And if he keeps this up, they can get counseling and possibly work on getting back together. She doesn’t think there’s anyone else for Trick but her. This makes Trick happy and they hug it out.
Amara and PreMadonna come to blows.
PreMadonna sees Emjay and says she wants to talk to him. Amara isn’t feeling this and PreMadonna gets mad and throws her drink at Amara.
Amara snaps and throws hands. Security steps in and Amara goes all the way off. She says that she’s tired of people coming on the show to come for her because they think she’s a punk. And LHHMIA is her show. She doesn’t try to fight because she’s not trying to lose her endorsements. But enough is enough. And these “crunchy b*tches” need to leave her alone.
While PreMadonna is being held back, she says Amara didn’t tell Emjay that she was sleeping with Julian. And she has the receipts.
Emjay stands by Amara and says he doesn’t care if Amara slept with Julian or not. He loves her and one day she will be his wife.
While PreMadonna is still being restrained by security and continues to yell at Amara, Amara and Emjay leave the party together.
