Egypt feels ambushed.
The episode begins with Tee Tee’s mom Maureen getting ready to start the sit-down with Tee Tee, Tyran, and Tee Tee’s boyfriend Shawn. Egypt feels ambushed but Maureen doesn’t care. She wants to get to the bottom of this Sam business and she feels Sam is splitting up their family. Egypt’s prepared to defend Sam but Tee Tee has surprising news of her own.
Meanwhile, Vanessa visits Angela and Tanice while Angela’s getting prepared for a photo shoot. Interestingly enough, Vanessa feels insecure about her looks and weight. This revelation shocks Angela. Things get better when Angela suggests creating a group chat to inspire everyone to improve their fitness and to motivate everyone.
She then brings out a scale to begin the inspiration.
Egypt calls Pepa for back up.
Back in Jamaica, Maureen delivers the news that she brought Egypt with her and Tee Tee side-eyes the whole thing. Tyran says this meeting is going to end like the last family meeting they had when Tee Tee walked out. Meanwhile, Egypt FaceTimes Pepa while in the car. Egypt and Pepa bring up Tee Tee’s flirtatious personality and how they can believe what Sam told them.
Boogie and JoJo speak about their relationships with their fathers.
In NYC, Boogie’s hanging with JoJo before Dame’s court hearing. Boogie tells JoJo about his latest argument with Dame and JoJo asks why Boogie’s relationship with Dame is the way it is. Boogie says he tries to talk to Dame but it never works out. In fact, Boogie says he and Dame will never be able to have that conversation about how why their relationship is strained. JoJo can relate because he says he had a strained relationship with Rev Run.
Back in Jamaica, Egypt’s talking with Pepa but Maureen cuts it short. It’s time for their meeting and Tee Tee’s not ready for it either. But luckily for Tee Tee, Sam didn’t make the trip.
As the conversation begins, Egypt calls Pepa so she can have someone in her corner who will also defend Sam’s actions and feelings. Tee Tee comments that Egypt and Pepa are always defensive about Egypt’s relationship with Sam. Things get tense when Maureen says Egypt is insecure.
Twist’s throwing a pajama party.
Twist and Briana are in the studio with Bow Wow and JoJo. Twist is playing tracks for Bow Wow and Briana. The pressure is seemingly on Twist’s shoulders as he’s working on his come back album. Things get lighter when Twist invites them all to his pajama party. Sam’s invited to the party and Briana preps for the worse.
Next, JoJo asks Bow Wow about Angela working with him on his tour merchandise. JoJo’s skeptical about Angela and Bow Wow as there were rumors Bow Wow cheated on Angela. But time heals all according to JoJo, but he’s still suspicious.
Back in Jamaica, Pepa’s strongly defending Egypt’s relationship with Sam to her family. Egypt says Tee Tee walked out of the bathroom n*ked in front of Sam. When Maureen calls Egypt jealous and insecure, Pepa strongly scoffs at this but she can’t get a word in.
Next, Egypt brings up how Tee Tee and Tyran told Treach about Sam proposing and Tee Tee says she tried to stop it. Tee Tee calls Sam disrespectful and Egypt disagrees. Tyran agrees and Egypt asks why they believe Sam is using her just because he doesn’t have money and she does as Treach and Pepa’s daughter. This questioning is angering Egypt and she’s close to having “Trepa” pop out.
JoJo warns Angela.
Angela’s having a photo shoot for her Strong Magazine cover when JoJo stops to visit. They’re taking a break when JoJo talks to Angela about Bow Wow. He doesn’t want Angela to date Bow Wow or Romeo. Angela tells JoJo that they are just focusing on business right now.
Meanwhile, Sam’s at home playing video games when Eric stops by for a quick chat. Eric asks about Egypt and if they are going to Twist’s party. Briana’s going to be at the party and Sam says he’s not looking forward to seeing her. But he has a bone to pick with Twist after he heard what he said about him.
Sam tells Eric how he heard of Twist saying he’s riding Egypt’s coattails. Egypt asks Sam if he wants a sit down with Twist or just wants to confront him at the party. Sam says he isn’t sure.
Dame gets arrested.
Back in NYC, Dame and Rocky are riding to the courthouse and they aren’t sure if Dame’s going to jail. He’s disappointed that Rachel Roy or his kids aren’t doing all they can to keep him out of jail. When they arrive, they greet Boogie as they turn off the cameras.
Dame got arrested and Boogie isn’t too sympathetic about it. Dame’s lawyer revealed that Dame’s going to Queens and when he gets there, he takes a perp walk. Rocky asks if Boogie’s coming to Queens and Boogie doesn’t go.
Tee Tee’s pregnant.
Egypt’s sit-down with the family gets tense when Tyran expresses his grievances with Sam being with Egypt. Egypt defends Sam and his lack of money. She goes off on Pepa as Pepa keeps cutting her off. Tee Tee cuts everyone off to deliver her news to Egypt and Pepa. She’s pregnant. Egypt feels slighted that Tee Tee didn’t tell her and that she contradicted herself. Apparently, Tee Tee warned Egypt to not get pregnant by Sam.
