JoJo and Twist almost come to blows, again.
The season finale begins with the drama at Angela’s pop up event. JoJo and Twist aren’t in a good place after their previous altercation off camera. JoJo tries to talk to Twist about what happened but things escalate once more and everyone is surprised at what’s going on. Vanessa says in her interview she didn’t like what’s happening and JoJo can be quick-tempered.
Eric says Twist is angry because he feels JoJo is trying to boss him around and JoJo didn’t appreciate what he was saying to Twist was taken way out of proportion. Tanice tried to calm him down but JoJo’s taking off his mic equipment, ready to fight. The ladies separate JoJo and Twist and Tanice tries to talk to Twist. Angela’s mad at everyone for bringing this tension to her event on top of her stalker showing up. Twist tells Tanice that JoJo’s coming at him in a way he’s never spoken to him before.
Suddenly, JoJo hears Tanice talking to Twist and he tries to storm past Vanessa to get at Twist. Vanessa keeps him away and calls for producers to pull him out of the event, and Tanice is furious JoJo. At this point, Angela shuts down the event. On a positive note, Aaliyah’s actually talking to Briana rather cordially and friendly.
Meanwhile, Twist’s venting to Eric about everything that happened. Boogie then shows up to catch the aftermath of what happened. Eric tells Boogie JoJo and Twist got into an altercation and Boogie wants to squash it all immediately.
However, the Simmons’ family is still heated as the girls are furious with JoJo’s actions at the event. But Tanice knows JoJo cares for Twist and wants them to squash this too. Outside, JoJo comes across Eric and Eric clarifies to JoJo what Twist told him.
Tyran goes ring shopping with Shawn.
The next day, Shawn takes Tyran with him ring shopping. This time, however, Tyran is taken to a jeweler to by a brand new ring. Earlier in the season, Sam took Tyran to a pawn shop to buy a used ring for his proposal to Egypt. Tyran’s going to help Shawn propose to Tee Tee and it’s his imperative to keep this a secret and away from Egypt and Sam.
Meanwhile, Bow Wow’s has dinner with Angela on his final night in Los Angeles. During their dinner, Angela tells Bow Wow about her stalker showing up to the event. Bow Wow feels he would’ve confronted the stalker if he was there.
They also talk about plans for Angela to go on tour with him. Since they aren’t dating, Angela doesn’t feel it’s her place to go on tour with Bow Wow. Interestingly enough, Angela’s got the eyes for someone else and Bow Wow notices as she’s dressed up for a date. He asks who the guy she’s going to see but Angela doesn’t answer.
Shawn pops the question to Tee Tee.
A big promo shoot for the show is going on and all the cast is involved. Shawn is preparing to propose at the shoot and producers try to keep JoJo and Twist separated. In one of the dressing rooms, JoJo and Sam are talking and he doesn’t open up about his altercations to Sam. Meanwhile, Sam’s hopeful he can flip his time on GUHH into his own spinoff. Meanwhile, Shawn’s walking in as Tee Tee’s being interviewed by producers. Shawn even got Tee Tee’s mom Maureen to show up to the photoshoot to witness the proposal.
Before the proposal happens, producers wrangle everyone from their dressing rooms as Shawn walks in with flowers. When the cast surrounds them, Shawn presents flowers to Tee Tee and gets on one knee to propose. Sam’s happy for Tee Tee but Egypt’s hurt that she didn’t know about the proposal beforehand.
Everyone cheers Tee Tee and Shawn on but Sam and Egypt have mixed feelings. They’re happy for her but they still feel a way about Tee Tee almost ruining their proposal. Tee Tee has no idea Maureen showed up to witness the entire engagement.
Egypt and Sam feel slighted by Tee Tee.
Later on, Tyran tells Egypt about Tee Tee and Shawn’s dinner, inviting Egypt but not Sam. This makes Sam and Egypt feel some type of way again. At the restaurant, Maureen happily surprises Tee Tee and tells her she witnessed the whole proposal. Pepa calls in while Maureen and Tee are at the restaurant and were disappointed that Sam and Egypt weren’t there. She jokingly suggests a joint wedding with Sam and Egypt and Tee tee side-eyes it. Speaking of Sam and Egypt, they show up to the restaurant just before everyone leaves. They felt disrespected Sam wasn’t formally invited to the engagement dinner and don’t believe Tee Tee will ever accept Sam.
Angela wants to remain just friends with Bow Wow
Meanwhile, Bow Wow’s concert sold out Madison Square Garden. Backstage, Angela shows Bow Wow the merch and he’s happy. He’s also happy Angela showed up but Angela wants to talk after to show about their relationship.
The show goes on without a hitch and Bow Wow puts on a great show. Afterward, Angela and Bow wow have that talk. She asks him the burning question of their relationship status. Bow Wow says he wants to take things beyond friendship again. However, Angela values their friendship over anything else. Bow Wow promises that he’s going to be there and support there no matter what. A producer asks Angela about Romeo’s promise and she refuses to answer.
Bow Wow then asks Angela to come on the road with him and the episode ends before she could answer.

After the episode, JoJo and Tanice are on the online call with Briana and Twist. Briana asked if Tanice had a talk with JoJo about the altercation with Twist. Tanice said that JoJo was just having a bad day. Twist says it was something that got out of hand that shouldn’t have. JoJo agreed and both squashed their beef.
