Father’s Day can be an extremely positive time or a not so good day for parents, especially those who share their relationship on television.
For former “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Moniece Slaughter and her child’s father Lil Fizz, there was plenty of drama during her time on the show. Most recently, the drama surrounded Fizz’s relationship with fellow LHHH co-star Apryl Jones. Things stemmed from when Moniece felt blindsided by Apryl and Fizz dating. She spilled the tea on their relationship publicly on Instagram while Apryl and Fizz were spending the Christmas holiday together in Chicago at the end of 2018.
For much of this past season, Moniece clashed with Apryl and Fizz after news of their relationship went public. Moniece even said that Apryl was pregnant with Fizz’s baby. She also trashed Apryl and Fizz on Jason Lee’s Hollywood Unlocked podcast.
Apryl had jabs of her own, calling Moniece a bad mom at the LHHH reunion. She also accused Moniece of still being in love with Fizz. Things were so bad between Apryl and Moniece, that at one point, Moniece confronted and taunted Apryl at her son’s basketball game.
And recently, Moniece even dropped accusations of Fizz assaulting her in front of their son. She claimed that this happened years ago at a basketball game.
But despite all of this, Moniece is very appreciative of the job Fizz is doing as a father, and their son loves him.
With things turning around in their co-parenting relationship, Moniece expressed her appreciation and gratitude for Fizz this past Father’s Day. To Moniece, it’s a blessing to witness her son celebrate Father’s Day with Fizz.
